Individual pieces make the difference in construction clear. The L-size BLADE ear cuff sits on the edge of the ear without a piercing; its broad planes are matte, with a brighter inner edge. The THORN bracelet repeats an angular link around the wrist, allowing the chain to move. Its sharp corners can lightly prickle the skin, a detail to consider when choosing it.
In the BLADE Mini Links choker, each link consists of two parts joined on copper pins. A large carabiner closes the chain and stands out among the small links. Weight matters here too: the three lengths weigh 80, 90 and 110 g. The same silver is used for both the small ear cuff and this much heavier chain.
What Living Silver is
Sterling 925 contains 92.5% silver. It is finished by hand: polishing produces a clear reflection, while a matte finish diffuses the light. With no rhodium layer over it, the silver itself is exposed to air and skin.
Over time, it darkens. Recesses can retain a darker patina while raised edges stay brighter where they rub during wear. This is a visible change in the surface. Its pace varies between pieces and wearers: silver reacts with sulfur-containing compounds to form a thin surface film, and humidity and storage conditions affect the process. The Canadian Conservation Institute explains the mechanism in detail.
Living Silver and silver blackened in advance
The silver in this collection arrives bright and changes as you wear it. For a dark surface from the outset, explore blackened silver, deliberately darkened during making. Those pieces start with a different finish and have their own collection.
What is in this collection
Start with where you want to wear the silver — on the ear, hand or neck — then compare constructions and sizes. There are currently 89 objects in this selection. The table counts each product page once, regardless of its size options; chains and chokers are grouped together because some chokers are catalogued as chains.

Keeping the patina or returning to bright silver
Darkening is a property of Living Silver, not a defect. You can leave the patina in place. To return to a brighter colour, a silver-cleaning product can remove tarnish; abrasive treatment also changes the texture of a matte surface.
Polishing removes a small amount of metal, as the Canadian Conservation Institute’s silver-care guidance explains. Choose a cleaning method for the specific piece. For an object with a stone, discuss care with STRUGA before using a liquid cleaner or abrasive. The silver-care Atlas covers the options in more detail.
Where the objects are made
STRUGA pieces for international customers are made in Bali. Silver pieces from the catalogue are made to order in about two weeks; silver with a stone takes about three. One-of-one amulets follow a different process: after a sale, the product page remains as an archive, and a similar piece can be discussed separately.
Production time does not include shipping. International delivery is available, with destinations and charges shown at checkout. Before ordering, check the size on the product page for the piece you have chosen.
