Is DARK UNION a world or a family?
Both. DARK UNION is one of the five STRUGA worlds (World IV), and a family of the same name lives inside it. The world is the commission route: wedding, paired and alternative engagement rings. The family is a line of ready oxidized rings. Same name, two different layers of the catalogue.
Can I buy a ring ready-made instead of commissioning one?
Yes. The DARK UNION family is a ready-to-buy line: the rings are oxidized in advance, dark from day one, and the choice comes down to stone and size. The line launched in summer 2026 and arrives in waves, so check the catalogue for a specific model — the launch itself is no proof of stock.
Which stone can go into a commissioned ring?
Any stone that passes a technical check: an uncut wild-growth crystal, Seymchan meteorite, a diamond, a sapphire. The limit is not a list of stones but the setting — whether it holds that stone in that shape. We answer on your stone after the check, before any work starts.
How long does a commissioned ring take?
The public guideline is 3–6 weeks from agreement to a finished pair. It depends on the shape, the size and the stone: a rare material has to be found and verified first. We name the exact date after the brief.
Is oxidized silver the same as Living Silver?
No. Oxidation is a technique: the silver is darkened at once, in the workshop. Living Silver is the property of uncoated 925 sterling to darken on its own through wear. DARK UNION rings are oxidized — the dark tone is set deliberately, not left to time.
Is the dark patina a defect?
No. On uncoated 925 sterling, darkening and patina are a property of the metal and a record of wear, not a flaw. In DARK UNION the dark tone comes from oxidation: the ring is meant to read dark from day one, and the hand adds its own pattern of wear on top.
