The first form of the brand — and the form that began STRUGA’s central experiment: one form carried across different types of pieces, from a pendant to a carabiner. The aesthetic came from CNC-cut sheet material — sharp edges, even planes, recessed depth. It is the most widely represented form in the brand.

The STRUGA Signature Asymmetric Links Choker is a 925 sterling silver chain in three lengths: 40, 45 and 50 cm. It weighs 27, 30 and 33 g and costs $570, $610 and $655, by length. It is made to order in about two weeks and closes with a toggle clasp.

How the links and the toggle are built
Small hexagonal rings alternate with tapering faceted bars. The chain shows its planes, not a smooth rounded profile. Every joint between a ring and a bar stays visible along the whole length.
The toggle is the one plain part of the piece. A smooth tapered loop carries the name STRUGA on its side. A straight flat bar with rounded ends passes through the loop and lies across it. A toggle has no spring and no lever: the bar simply passes through the loop.
This is the SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC form, the first form of the brand. Its aesthetic comes from CNC-cut sheet material: sharp edges, even planes, recessed depth. Here the form became a chain link and a clasp. The choker is made from a wax model and a silicone form in 925 silver, then finished by hand. Choosing between 40, 45 and 50 cm
Chain length is a position, not a size. For a neck of 33 to 38 cm, the chain and necklace size guide places 40 cm at the base of the neck, resting on the collarbone. 45 cm lies just below the collarbone. 50 cm lies a few centimetres lower, on the upper chest.
In the guide's terms 40 cm is a choker length, 45 cm a princess length and 50 cm a matinee length. The chain is the same; only the position changes.
A fuller neck takes up more of the chain, so the same length sits higher. Measure instead of reading a row of a chart. At 27–33 g this chain is heavier than the finest STRUGA chains. The Thorn Links chain weighs 11–13 g in the same three lengths. A heavier chain settles a little lower than a fine one of the same length.

Per centimetre of length at 40 cm, the Thorn Links chain carries about 0.3 g of silver, this choker about 0.7 g and the Blade Mini Links choker 2 g.

Which length should I choose — 40, 45 or 50 cm?
Choose by where you want the chain to lie. The patina is a property of the metal, not a defect. To bring the metal back toward the light, wipe it with a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution, and avoid harsh chemicals.
