What is the difference between a family and a world at STRUGA?
A world is the wider territory a form belongs to: CODEX, RITUAL, LAB. A family is a specific line inside it: BLADE and Signature Heart sit in CODEX; AMULET, CARBON and MOSAIC in RITUAL; FUSED and EXPERIMENTAL in LAB. The necklace collection draws its pendants from all of them.
Is Living Silver the same as oxidized silver?
No. Living Silver is a property of unplated 925 sterling silver: without rhodium, the metal darkens on its own through wear and time. Oxidation is a technique that blackens a form at the bench, before it ever reaches you. STRUGA works with the living property, so a necklace deepens as you wear it rather than arriving pre-darkened.
Will the darkening on a silver necklace wash off, and does it count as damage?
No. Patina is 925 sterling silver reacting naturally over time — a record of wear, not a flaw. It settles into recesses and along the edges you touch most, marking how the form is worn. It is built into unplated 925 sterling silver and part of how a STRUGA necklace is meant to age.
How is a MOSAIC pendant different from an AMULET pendant?
MOSAIC gathers several materials into one pendant — meteorite, carbon, copper, steel — as a single composition. AMULET is built around raw, uncut stones, each one its own; no two repeat. Both live in the RITUAL world, but one is a mosaic of materials and the other is an amulet carrying a single stone.
Which necklace should I choose to represent the whole brand?
