THE STORY OF THIS PIECE
AMULET — STRUGA earrings and necklaces built around raw, wild-growth stones. The amulets of this family differ widely — from quiet and classic, a Japanese reading of minimalism, to large and declarative. The most expressive is the THORN amulet: a halved-torpedo form with a crystal grown inside; an homage to Daniel Arsham.

A crystal inside a cut silver form
The Thorn Amulet carries the THORN form into volume: a halved-torpedo form with a crystal grown inside; the raw stone comes out of its diagonal cut. A small thorned hoop holds the torpedo on the ear through a jump ring. It is an homage to Daniel Arsham.
The stone is left uncut. Its outline, colour and the way it sits in the cut differ from earring to earring. The photographs on this page show sold pieces from the archive: #6 with green tourmaline, #12 with aquamarine, #9 with pink tourmaline and #21 with grey tourmaline in black oxidation.
How the stone is chosen
STRUGA chooses the stone for you. If you open a sold piece in the AMULET archive and press “Buy a similar one”, that piece becomes the reference: we take a crystal of the same mineral and tone, as close in size as our stones allow. If you order from this page without a reference, you receive a raw tourmaline or aquamarine chosen by STRUGA. The silver form and size follow the model; only the stone is individual.
The earring comes in Living Silver. If you prefer the dark surface of #21, write “black oxidation” in the order comment; there is no surcharge. A different stone or a size outside S, M and L is a custom order.
Sizes and weight
The size describes the silver torpedo and the stone it holds. Weight is given for the whole earring with the stone, as an average for this model: the crystal makes each earring slightly lighter or heavier.

Who it suits
One amulet is enough to give the face a focal point. Wear it alone with an open neckline, or balance it with a plain silver earring on the other ear. It will not suit someone who wants to choose the crystal themselves. The earring is not made for one gender: S, M and L change the scale, not the wearer.

Will the Thorn Amulet earring I receive look exactly like the photos?
Your Thorn Amulet earring will not match the photos exactly: they show sold archive pieces, and every raw crystal is different. The earring keeps the model's silver form and size; STRUGA chooses a stone as close as possible to the reference in mineral, tone and size.
How does STRUGA choose the stone for a made-to-order Thorn Amulet earring?
If you start from a sold piece and press “Buy a similar one”, that piece is the reference: the same mineral and tone, the closest size among our stones. If you order directly from this page, STRUGA selects a raw tourmaline or aquamarine for you. Stones are not sent for approval. If the earring does not suit you, the usual exchange applies: once within 14 days of delivery, arranged with STRUGA before sending; unworn, in original packaging, shipping both ways at your cost.
