CARBON is a family, not a world. It lives inside the RITUAL world, alongside AMULET and MOSAIC. STRUGA began with carbon — the first experiments and the first pieces were made from it, which makes CARBON the brand’s point of origin and a standing source of inspiration.

How is carbon different from STRUGA silver?

Carbon is the counterweight to silver. Multi-layer matte carbon stays as it is: ultralight, unbothered by water, unchanged by time. 925 silver without rhodium plating lives: it darkens and takes on patina as it is worn. Carbon holds its state; silver records its wear.

Why are CARBON and MOSAIC connected?

CARBON was almost never pure carbon. From the start, other materials were set into it — silver-plated jewellery alloy, copper, brass, meteorite. That practice gave rise to two families at once: CARBON, where the carbon itself stays the object, and MOSAIC, where the combination of inlaid materials becomes the object.

Is the light inlay in carbon silver?

No. The base is carbon and the light inlay is a silver-plated jewellery alloy. It is not silver and it carries no hallmark. Where 925 silver is a separate part of an object, the piece description says so.

How long does a carbon piece take?

About four weeks. Carbon at STRUGA is always a made-to-order job: nothing sits on a shelf, every object is cut and assembled for its buyer. Shipping then takes roughly a week. Ships worldwide.

STRUGA began with CARBON. The first tests, the first pieces were made of carbon — this is the beginning and the inspiration.

Where the brand began

The first STRUGA pieces were carbon, not silver. Multi-layered matte carbon: ultralight, unafraid of water, unchanged by time. It is the counterweight to silver — silver is alive, it darkens and patinas, while carbon stays the same.

STRUGA has its own line of signature carbon — palettes selected by the brand: Classic, Bloody, Toxic, Arctic, Winter and Multy Graphite. CARBON is a CNC aesthetic: the carbon is cut on a CNC machine from sheet material, which is why the edges are sharp and the planes are even.

The palette of an object is a carbon palette, not a silver finish: a piece named Bloody or Arctic is carbon in that palette.

CARBON or MOSAIC — where the line runs

The line is simple. In CARBON the carbon itself stays the object, and the inlay holds and sharpens its form. In MOSAIC the combination of materials becomes the object — carbon is one participant there, not the owner of the piece.

The light inlay is a silver-plated jewellery alloy. It is not silver, and it carries no hallmark.

Every object in this family is made to order: about four weeks to make it and roughly a week to ship. Ships worldwide.

At checkout the brand states the window as 2–4 weeks. That is not vagueness but category: plain silver takes about two weeks, carbon always takes four. In the CARBON family the figure is the upper one — four weeks, and it never comes out shorter.
