Chains

Each STRUGA chain uses its form differently. In THORN, sharp-angled links repeat along the chain. Each BLADE link has two halves joined with copper pins. The long SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC chain spaces angular elements along a fine round-link chain. In the SIGNATURE HEART choker, a row of small beads closes with a heart.

Length and weight of each chain

These are the catalogue weights for each size. The numbers in each row follow the same order: for example, 40 cm is 27 g, 45 cm is 30 g and 50 cm is 33 g. The finished piece may vary slightly in weight.

How the five constructions differ

THORN. A run of sharp-angled links. At 11–18 g, this is the lightest chain in the category. Its low weight does not make the surface smooth: the edges can be felt against the skin and may lightly prickle.

SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC choker. Hexagonal links alternate with straight, faceted bars. The toggle clasp consists of a loop and a crossbar. Lengths of 40–50 cm weigh 27–33 g.

SIGNATURE HEART. Small silver Perlina beads meet at a heart clasp. One half of the heart is smooth, the other angular. Wear the heart at the front or turn it towards the nape. Its lengths and weights match the SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC choker, while the row of beads gives a different outline from the open links.

BLADE Mini Links V.1. The maker joins the two halves of each silver link with copper pins. A large Carabiner #2 Big carrying the SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC form closes the chain. This is the heaviest construction here, at 80–110 g. Compare it with the other chokers at the same length.

Choosing a length

Measure a chain whose fit you like, or place a soft tape around your neck at the height you want. Measure the full closed length, then compare it with the options in the table. A 45 cm chain sits differently depending on neck circumference, link construction and clothing.

Four pieces offer short lengths of 40–50 cm. THORN also comes in 75 cm, while the long SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC chain is 120 cm. Silver, making and care

All five pieces are 925 silver without rhodium. Living Silver gradually darkens with air and skin contact, while areas exposed to friction stay lighter. This is a change in the exposed metal itself. In the workshop, forms are modelled in 3D or wax, then made into silver components and assembled by hand. The assembly depends on the piece: links, beads and separate elements use different connections.

Use a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning product according to its instructions. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic cleaning. Each chain is made to order in about 2 weeks, with worldwide shipping after completion; delivery time is additional.
