Is BLADE a world or a family?
BLADE is a family, not a world. It belongs to the CODEX world and also appears in RITUAL. A world is the larger context a form lives in; a family is the form itself. BLADE is a family built around a single chain link with a CNC aesthetic.
Does the CNC aesthetic mean the link is simply machine-milled?
No. In BLADE it describes the look, not the method — clean, even planes, as if cut from a sheet of metal. Each link is assembled from two halves on copper pins, soldered into a single piece, then finished by hand. The aesthetic is a reference, not the whole process.
What is the difference between Mini Links and Big Links?
It is one form in two sizes. Mini Links build the finer bracelets, chains, and chokers. Big Links build the large, heavy bracelets and massive chokers. Both always close with the substantial Carabiner #2 Big. There are also thinner, lighter versions made for toggle-clasp bracelets.
BLADE is uncoated silver — will it darken over time, and is that a defect?
BLADE is 925 sterling silver without rhodium plating — Living Silver. It darkens on its own as you wear it; that is a property of the metal, not the oxidation we apply in the workshop, and not a defect. The patina is a map of wear, and it can always be brought back to bright silver.
Where else does the BLADE form appear?
Beyond bracelets, chains, and chokers, the same form lives in the Blade Pin, the BLADE earring, and the ear cuff, and the body of BearRabbit repeats the BLADE link. It is one recognizable form carried across several object types within the family.
