Nine STRUGA families hold a form for the ear, and this page reads them together. A family is a line of forms — BLADE is chain links, THORN is a sharpened edge. A category is a place on the body. The ear is the only place where almost every family of the brand has something to say.
Every piece here is a mono earring: one object for one ear, not a pair. That is not a shortage. A pair balances a face; a single earring displaces it, and the displacement is the point.

Weight is what your ear reads
Between the lightest and the heaviest orderable piece there is a factor of five: 1.6 grams against 8.0. Width and outline matter for a photograph; after an hour on the ear only mass is still speaking.

Living silver, and why oxidised is a different thing
All 54 objects are 925 sterling silver. Nine hundred and twenty-five is not a brand's invention — it is one of the three silver finenesses recognised under the international hallmarking convention, alongside 800 and 999 (Assay Office London). It means 92.5% pure silver, the remainder alloyed in, because the pure metal is too soft to hold an edge or a spring.
Left without rhodium plating, that alloy lives. It darkens on its own, deepest where the metal is recessed and where skin does not rub it. After a year the piece reads as a map of how you wore it. That is Living Silver — a property, not a treatment, and patina is not a defect.
Oxidising is the other thing entirely: the workshop darkens the form deliberately, at once, before it ever reaches you. Thirteen objects in this category are blackened that way — and every one of them is in the AMULET archive. Nothing orderable here arrives pre-darkened; the seventeen silver pieces start bright and do the work themselves.
One object breaks the pattern: the Blade Fused Mini Line carries a red finish rather than a silver one — melted metal caught mid-motion.
The amulet archive: 36 stones that existed once
Thirty-six earrings in this category are built on a raw, uncut stone. Twenty-five hold tourmaline, eight hold aquamarine.
Tourmaline is a boron silicate group with one of the widest colour ranges of any gem (GIA): two crystals off the same seam can come out green and pink. Aquamarine is a variety of beryl, the same species that produces emerald, and it forms in large clean crystals (GIA). Neither stone is cut here. The growth is left as it came out of the ground, which is why the settings are cut to fit the stone rather than the other way round.
Two models carry them: Thorn Amulet, 22 pieces, and Classic Amulet, 14. They are one-of-one — the same stone will not arrive twice, and that is why the archive pages have no cart. What can be ordered is a new amulet built around a stone that is currently on the bench: the AMULET family page holds what is live now.
Two things called Thorn

One word, two entities, two different worlds. If you came looking for the sharp-edged silver, that is THORN. If you came looking for the stone, that is AMULET.
Living with one
Do nothing and the silver keeps darkening where your skin and hair reach it. That is the intended behaviour, not neglect.
If you want the metal lighter again, silver cleaner returns it in a minute. If the surface is matte, a scotch pad takes off the top layer and sets a new matte at the same time. Both are reversible — you are choosing a state, not repairing damage.
Take it off before the pool. Chlorine darkens silver in a way you did not choose, and the result is flat rather than deep.
What it is made of, and how it reaches you
925 sterling silver — 92.5% silver, alloyed for hardness. Wax model, silicone mould, casting, then finishing by hand at the bench. Every piece is worked to final shape by a silversmith, which is why no two are identical under close light.

Do I need a piercing?
For the earrings on this page, yes. The forms that need no piercing are the ear cuffs.
Can two families be combined in one object?
