Is "Earrings" a family?
No. Earrings is a category, not a family. It gathers the nine STRUGA families that hold a form for the ear: BLADE, THORN, Signature Asymmetric, Signature Heart, MOSAIC, CARBON, AMULET, FUSED and EXPERIMENTAL. Each carries its own forms and material; the category simply reads them together at the level of the face.
Are THORN here and the Thorn Amulet the same thing?
No. THORN is a family in the CODEX world: sharp-edged silhouettes worn as a single earring. The Thorn Amulet is a separate type within the AMULET family, in the RITUAL world. One word, two entities: one is a family, the other is a single amulet type.
What is Living Silver — is it the same as oxidation?
No. Living Silver is a property of 925 sterling silver left without rhodium plating: the metal lives and darkens on its own over time. Oxidation is a technique: the form is darkened deliberately in the workshop. The first happens through wear; the second is applied by hand.
What are STRUGA earrings made of?
925 sterling silver. CARBON forms are ultralight and come in six palettes of their own. Single AMULET earrings carry raw, uncut stones of wild growth — each stone is its own. FUSED works with molten silver. The darkening you see over time is patina: a property and a map of wear, never a flaw.
