Mens Jewelry — Sterling Silver Rings, Signets, Bracelets and Chains by STRUGA

Mens jewelry is usually built from one of two extremes. Either it tries to disappear — a thin chain, a polished band, a predictable signet — or it overloads itself with logos and gold plating. STRUGA is built around a third option: 925 silver with real mass, a right angle, and a surface that lives with wear. This page is the entry into the part of the catalogue men choose most, and every number below is taken from the catalogue rather than written for effect.

- The catalogue holds 9 rings, 3 of them signets; 14 bracelets, 16 ear cuffs, 5 chains, 32 necklaces.

- Rings weigh 2.1 to 24 grams, median 8; the heaviest are BRUTALISM V.1 and V.3 at 24 grams in size 22.

- Ring size is inner diameter in millimetres, 15 to 22.

- 17 pieces of 134 are oxidized in advance; lead time from 2 weeks, carbon about 4.

You can go straight to a category from here: mens rings, signet rings, wedding bands, bracelets, chains, pendants. If you want the language of the forms rather than the storefront, read the Atlas section on mens silver.

Why a Mens Piece Is Counted Separately

One thing said plainly first: STRUGA does not split objects by gender. Size runs by the body — by form, weight and fit — and 130 of the 134 pieces in the catalogue are tagged unisex. The mens selection here is a selection by scale and mass, not a separate line. What follows is about that selection.

Scale decides more than it seems. Hands are larger, wrists are wider, the neckline sits differently against the collarbone, and most men wear one or two pieces instead of a set — so each has to earn its place. A 4 mm band that reads as delicate on a slim finger is lost at an inner diameter of 22 mm. A pendant that carries on a 40 cm chain disappears on a 75 cm one. That scale is set at the sketch, not adjusted afterwards.

The second difference is daily wear. These pieces usually stay on: people shower in them, work in them, train in them. That demands solid silver — not plating, not hollow tubing, not lacquer. Living Silver, 925 silver without rhodium plating, works exactly that way: recesses darken, high points lighten with friction, and the patina becomes a map of how the piece is worn. It is a property of the material, not wear and tear.

How STRUGA Approaches Mens Pieces

Dmitry Strugovshchikov draws the form: sketch, prototype, weeks of wearing it, revision — until it sits right on a real hand. The objects themselves are made by hand, one at a time, by master silversmiths in the Bali workshop. The route is simple: wax model, silicone mould, 925 silver, hand finishing. That is where the variation comes from — two of the same ring will not be identical down to the last ridge.

Three forms of the brand carry the mens part of the catalogue, each with its own count. BRUTALISM — the fourth form, architecture in silver: 7 objects, two rings and five ear cuffs; the rings of this family are the heaviest and most massive in the brand. BLADE — the second form, a CNC aesthetic in silver: 20 objects, and the larger Big Links go precisely into mens bracelets and massive chokers. THORN — the third form, a thorn with sharp angles: 7 objects, from a ring to a chain.

What the Mens Part of the Catalogue Holds

The table below is the state of the catalogue on 28 August 2026. Rings are the narrowest category here, not the widest: there are nine. Most of the objects live at the neck and on the wrist.

Category Objects Weight Storefront
Rings 9 2.1–24 g Rings
Signet rings 3 4.7–24 g Signet rings
Bracelets 14 2–130 g Mens bracelets
Ear cuffs 16 0.3–3.8 g Ear cuffs
Chains and chokers 5 11–110 g Mens chains
Necklaces and pendants 32 4–80 g Pendants

Mens Rings and Signet Rings

There are nine rings, and all of them are sold by inner diameter from 15 to 22 mm. The heavy end is BRUTALISM V.1 and V.3: from 9.6 g in the smallest size to 24 g at size 22. The light end is Signature Links V.1, from 2.7 g. The median across all 66 variants is 8 grams, which is closer to the truth than the common idea of a mens ring starting at 15 grams: only one variant in five goes above 12 g.

Three rings work as signets in the catalogue — BRUTALISM V.1, BRUTALISM V.3 and Thorn. A signet is a ring with a flat or slightly domed plate on the band; at STRUGA it is built so the mass sits in the band itself rather than as a polished oval on a thin shank. Of the three, only BRUTALISM V.3 is darkened in advance — the other two are bright. The form is read in full in the Atlas section on the signet ring. Wedding, paired and alternative union rings are read through the DARK UNION world: a separate route, and the ready-to-buy line currently holds one piece, the Thorn ring.

Bracelets and Ear Cuffs

There are 14 bracelets, and the spread of mass here is wider than in rings: Thorn is 9–10 g, Blade Big Links is 85–95 g, and the heaviest of all is Carabiner #2 Big Cross at up to 130 g. Lengths run from 14.5 to 26 cm. Wrist circumference varies more than finger size, so we ask for a measurement before shipping. The selected storefront is mens bracelets; the forms are read in the Atlas. There is one rigid cuff bracelet in the catalogue — Big Thorn Bracelet, 45–95 g.

There are 16 ear cuffs, and this is the lightest part of the catalogue: from 0.3 g in carbon to 3.8 g in silver BRUTALISM. An ear cuff sits on the edge of the ear without a piercing, so size does not come into it at all.

Chains and Pendants

Five chains and chokers — the shortest shelf in the catalogue. The links are the brand's own: Thorn Links, Signature Asymmetric Links, Blade Mini Links, with a separate line where the carabiner is brought out as a visible clasp. Lengths are given in centimetres: 40, 45, 50, 75 and 120. Weight depends on the link far more than on the length: Thorn Links at 40–75 cm weighs 11–18 g, while Blade Mini Links at 40–50 cm weighs 80–110 g. Almost a sevenfold difference at a comparable length.

Necklaces and pendants number 32 — the widest shelf. Crosses live here (Signature Cross V.3, 9 g: a carbon body with a cast silver element) along with two necklaces holding a slice of Seymchan meteorite, a material with geological weight. The storefronts are mens chains and pendants.

Carbon and Mixed Materials

Carbon accounts for 25 objects in the catalogue, and the count is worth naming precisely: 17 necklaces, 4 ear cuffs, 3 bracelets and one earring. STRUGA has no carbon rings at all. The carbon is multi-layered and matte — light, unafraid of water, unchanged by time; the counterweight to living silver. There are six palettes: Classic, Bloody, Toxic, Arctic, Winter and Multy Graphite. The palette is agreed with the wearer, which is why carbon always runs as a made-to-order route with a lead time of about 4 weeks. The storefront is CARBON, the material is read in the carbon Atlas, and the world it lives in is RITUAL.

Size and Weight: The Two Numbers That Decide

Size: inner diameter

A STRUGA ring size is given as inner diameter in millimetres — that is how the workshop measures it and how it stands at checkout. The international standard ISO 8653 designates size differently, by inner circumference, covering 41 to 76 mm of circumference, which is 13.05 to 24.19 mm of diameter. Our 15–22 mm of diameter is roughly 47–69 mm in ISO terms. The simplest method is to measure the inner diameter of a ring already worn and give us that number.

Weight: what the number means

Weight carries what a photograph does not. Under 8 grams reads as light, 8–15 is balanced, above 15 the piece is present on the hand at all times. The heaviest ring in the catalogue is 24 grams; there are no figures above that. Bracelets have a different ceiling: 130 grams.

Lead Times and Made-to-Order Work

Objects are made to order, so the count starts from production rather than from stock. Plain silver runs about 2 weeks, silver with a stone about 3, carbon about 4. Transit on top of that is about 7 days, and STRUGA ships worldwide from Bali, with DDP options for the EU, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Singapore and Japan. An individual design outside the catalogue is Custom Order: a different route with a different frame, roughly 3–6 weeks. That is a frame, not a promised date. An engraved signet face, an inscription inside a wedding band, a setting built around a stone the wearer already owns, resizing a finished ring — all of it runs this way.

Care: Water, Chlorine and Patina

Why silver darkens

Silver darkening is chemistry, not damage. As the Canadian Conservation Institute describes it, tarnish on 925 silver is silver sulfide together with copper sulfide, formed by sulphur-bearing gases in the air. On Living Silver this works for the object: the dark holds in the recesses, the bright comes through on the high points.

Water, chlorine, and resetting the patina

Fresh water and showers are fine. Chlorinated pool water acts on the copper in the alloy rather than on the silver itself, so a piece is worth wiping dry after a pool. Here is the distinction that is easy to blur: living silver is a property of the material, while oxidation is a technique — the silver was darkened at the bench. Seventeen pieces of 134 are oxidized in advance, and among the rings that is BRUTALISM V.3. The rest arrive bright and darken on their own. Patina can also be reset — with a silver cleaning solution, or on a matte surface with an abrasive that lifts a thin top layer.

Ask a question →
01How many mens rings are in the STRUGA catalogue?+

Nine rings, three of which work as signets: BRUTALISM V.1, BRUTALISM V.3 and Thorn. Rings are the narrowest category in the catalogue, not the widest: there are 14 bracelets, 16 ear cuffs, 32 necklaces and pendants, and 5 chains and chokers.

02How heavy are mens STRUGA rings?+

From 2.1 to 24 grams, with a median of 8 grams across 66 variants. The heaviest are BRUTALISM V.1 and V.3 at 24 grams in size 22. Only one variant in five goes above 12 grams, so a mens object here is more often mid-weight than extreme. Weight per size is listed on each product page.

03How is a STRUGA ring size given?+

As inner diameter in millimetres — from 15 to 22. That is how the workshop measures and how the size stands at checkout. ISO 8653 designates size differently, by inner circumference, and our 15–22 mm of diameter corresponds to roughly 47–69 mm in ISO terms. The simplest method is to measure the inner diameter of a ring you already wear.

04What metal do you use for mens jewelry?+

Solid 925 silver. We do not plate, we do not lacquer, and we do not use hollow tubing — the object is silver through and through. Living Silver and oxidation are two different things: the first is a property of the material, silver darkening on its own; the second is a technique, silver darkened at the bench. Seventeen pieces of 134 are oxidized in advance, and among the rings that is BRUTALISM V.3.

05Does STRUGA make carbon rings?+

No. Carbon accounts for 25 objects in the catalogue: 17 necklaces, 4 ear cuffs, 3 bracelets and one earring. There are no carbon rings at all. Carbon always runs as a made-to-order route — the palette is agreed with the wearer, with a lead time of about 4 weeks. There are six palettes: Classic, Bloody, Toxic, Arctic, Winter and Multy Graphite.

06How long does a piece take?+

Objects are made to order. Plain silver takes about 2 weeks, silver with a stone about 3, carbon about 4. Transit on top of that is about 7 days. An individual design outside the catalogue runs a different route, Custom Order, with a frame of 3–6 weeks. That is a frame, not a promised date: the time depends on the form, the material and the workload.

07Can I shower and swim in STRUGA jewelry?+

Fresh water and showers are fine. Chlorinated pool water acts on the copper in the alloy rather than on the silver itself, so it is worth wiping the object dry after a pool. Salt sweat from training does no harm and helps the patina settle.
