What is a signet ring?
A signet ring is a ring with a flat or slightly domed plate on the shoulder. The plate was once a working surface — a seal was cut into it and pressed into wax. STRUGA keeps the plate but reads it as architecture: a plane, an edge, mass — no crest, no gloss.
On which finger do you wear a signet ring?
Traditionally the little finger, but there is no rule. STRUGA does not assign jewelry by gender or finger — size and width are built to the hand. A signet's mass sits well on the pinky or ring finger; choose by fit and by how the plate reads on your hand.
What does wearing a signet ring mean?
Historically the signet carried identity — a seal pressed a person's mark into wax. STRUGA reads that meaning through form, not heraldry: the plate is a surface you can leave blank or engrave. The object carries weight because of what it is, not a promise attached to it.
How much should a silver signet ring cost?
A solid 925 sterling silver signet is priced by mass and making, not by a crest. A STRUGA signet costs between Rp 2,500,000 and Rp 9,980,000. The Thorn Ring opens the range at 4.7 grams; a Brutalism V.3 in a large size closes it at 24 grams of silver. Price follows mass and making: each ring is made to order in about two weeks, handcrafted on Bali.
A signet ring is not a massive ring
A signet centres on a flat plate; a massive ring is about volume without a required plate. At STRUGA, signets live in the BRUTALISM and THORN families, massive rings in FUSED and SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC. The signet gathers mass into one plane — the plate.

Is a STRUGA signet ring a crest ring?
No. STRUGA reads the signet as architecture, not heraldry. The plate is a plane and an edge, not a slot for a family crest. Any relief or cut is part of the form, not a personal code — the ring speaks through shape, not symbol.
Is 925 silver real silver?
Yes. 925 sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver, the international standard. STRUGA makes its signets entirely from it, left unplated as Living Silver, so the surface darkens and lives with wear.
Can a STRUGA signet ring be engraved?
Yes, on request. The historic signet was a surface for a mark; STRUGA carries engraving onto the flat plate. A design or initials are arranged individually. Custom requests add a few weeks to production.
Is the STRUGA signet ring gold?
No. STRUGA works in 925 sterling silver — the base of the brand. Signets are made in silver with a Living Silver or oxidized surface; gold is not used as the signet material.
