THE STORY OF THIS PIECE
The first form of the brand — and the form that began STRUGA’s central experiment: one form carried across different types of pieces, from a pendant to a carabiner. The aesthetic came from CNC-cut sheet material — sharp edges, even planes, recessed depth. It is the most widely represented form in the brand.

The body of the cross is CNC-cut from multi-layered matte carbon in Classic Graphite — one of six carbon palettes STRUGA selects and keeps as its own. Black-graphite layers, neutral and industrial, with the brand name cut down the lower arm. Over that body sits a cast 925 silver wedge, set off-centre and blackened at the bench. The object is dark from the first day: oxidation here is a move made at the bench, not the self-darkening of Living Silver. Two materials, one object.
The off-square silhouette comes from SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC, the first form of the brand. The silver bar runs at an angle across a stepped carbon body, so the cross reads as a construction rather than a symbol. For those who read jewelry as engineered composition — not decoration.

Care: warm water, mild soap, a soft brush in the recesses, then dry fully. Avoid ultrasonic baths, chlorine and silver dips — all three strip the blackening. The carbon needs no care and does not change.

V.3 is the only one of the four whose silver was blackened at the bench; on the others the silver is left bare against the carbon. At 9 grams it sits in the middle of the line — a little over twice the 4-gram Arctic, roughly half the 17-gram Bloody.

Why is the silver dark, and how do I care for an oxidized pendant?
The pendant is dark from the first day: the 925 silver was blackened deliberately, at the bench. That is oxidation as a technique, not the patina of Living Silver, which is bare 925 darkening on its own from air and skin. The blackening lives in the recesses, where daily wear cannot reach, so raised edges lighten over time and the contrast grows. Clean with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, then dry fully. Avoid ultrasonic baths, chlorine and silver dips — they strip the dark layer. If it ever fades, the piece can be re-blackened.
