How much does the pendant weigh, and what is it made of?
The Cross V.3 cross pendant weighs 9 grams. The body of the cross is multi-layer matte carbon in the Classic Graphite palette, with a cast element in 925 sterling silver laid across it. It comes on a 75 cm suede cord.
Is it a solid silver cross, or carbon with silver?
It is two materials in one object. The body of the cross is carbon; the element across it is cast 925 sterling silver. The carbon gives a matte surface and lightness, the silver gives the cast detail and the weight of metal.
What does V.3 mean, and how is it different from Cross V.4?
V.3 and V.4 are two crosses of the same line, and they do not share a form. V.3 is off-square: a stepped carbon body with the silver element laid across the outside, 9 grams, Classic Graphite carbon. V.4 is a symmetric cross with the silver set inside a carbon frame — the Arctic palette at 4 grams, the Bloody palette at 17 grams.
Why is the silver dark, and how do I care for an oxidized pendant?
The pendant is dark from the first day: the 925 silver was blackened deliberately, at the bench. That is oxidation as a technique, not the patina of Living Silver, which is bare 925 darkening on its own from air and skin. The blackening lives in the recesses, where daily wear cannot reach, so raised edges lighten over time and the contrast grows. Clean with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, then dry fully. Avoid ultrasonic baths, chlorine and silver dips — they strip the dark layer. If it ever fades, the piece can be re-blackened.
What is the CARBON family?
CARBON is a STRUGA family from the RITUAL world — the one the brand began with. The carbon is CNC-cut from sheet material, and the brand keeps its own line of in-house carbon palettes. CARBON was almost never pure carbon: another material was set into the carbon, and from that the MOSAIC family was born.
