THE STORY OF THIS PIECE
The second form of the brand — a CNC aesthetic in silver. BLADE began with a chain link: even planes, as if cut from sheet material. From links like these grew the brand’s first massive bracelet; the BLADE form lives in bracelets, chains, chokers, a pin, an earring and an ear cuff.

Who it is for and when it is worn
The earring is made for wearing one side only: a mono earring reads as a mark, not as a pair. Of the 5.27 grams, most sits in the silver link — the carbon plate is lighter than silver of the same volume, so the lobe is not pulled. Silver and carbon age differently: the silver darkens from air and skin, recesses go into shadow, friction lightens the raised edges, while the carbon plate stays as it arrived. After a year of wear the object is more contrasted than on the day it was bought, and that is by design. As a gift it lands with someone who already wears silver and does not want a second symmetrical piece: one side, two families, carbon recognisable by its pattern. Every Bloody Graphite plate is cut from its own sheet, so the red running through the black is never repeated.

Bloody Graphite is one of STRUGA's six in-house carbon palettes: red surfaces through black and graphite. The carbon is layered and cut from sheet, so the pattern of the layers is unique to each plate — no two are alike. It is light, unbothered by water, and does not change over time.
Why does the silver darken while the carbon doesn't, and how do I care for it?
The silver surface is Living Silver — 925 without rhodium plating: the earring arrives light and darkens from air and skin. Recesses in the relief darken; friction lightens the raised edges. Patina is a property, not a defect, and you can return the metal to its lighter state with a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. The carbon does not darken — simply wipe it clean. Avoid aggressive chemicals and ultrasonic baths.
What are the BLADE and FUSED families?
