STRUGA carbon fiber jewelry ranges from ear cuffs without a metal insert to pieces combining carbon with copper, silver-plated alloy or 925 sterling silver.

Materials, palettes and choosing a design

In Signature Asymmetric Aged, an aged copper inlay sits flush with the carbon. The pendant weighs 17 g and hangs on a suede cord. Signature Cross V.3 sets a separate 925 silver element across a carbon cross. A dark surface connects the two pieces; their metal and construction differ.

The Blade ear cuff in Classic Graphite carbon has no metal insert. Its open, angular link fits around the edge of the ear without a piercing and weighs 0.3 g.

Choosing the material

In Aged designs, the inlay is aged copper. The light insert in carbon Signature Asymmetric Arctic, Bloody, Toxic, Winter and Multy is silver-plated jewellery alloy. Individual designs contain 925 sterling silver, including Cross V.3 and the Carabiner #2 Big Cross bracelet.

The Carabiner #2 Big Cross bracelet makes the difference in weight clear. Working silver carabiners form its body, with a carbon cross at the centre. The 21.5 cm version weighs 130.28 g: the whole construction determines the weight.

Six palettes and the start of STRUGA

STRUGA began with CARBON: the first tests and pieces were made in carbon. Multi-layer sheet material is cut on a computer-controlled CNC machine. Its cut edge reveals the layers, while the broad planes remain matte.

Classic, Bloody, Toxic, Arctic, Winter and Multy Graphite are the six carbon palettes selected by the brand. Bloody in a carbon piece's name refers to red-and-black material; Arctic names a cooler palette. These are carbon colours, rather than silver finishes.

Combining carbon with other materials also gave rise to MOSAIC, a family built around those combinations. The catalogue includes copper, silver, brass, steel and meteorite alongside carbon. Each product page describes its own composition; two pieces in this selection contain meteorite.

Wear and care

Carbon keeps its dark colour without developing silver patina. Copper and silver change through contact with air and skin, so the surfaces of a combined piece can develop differently over time.

Use a soft dry cloth for everyday care. Keep a suede cord away from prolonged soaking and oils; do not bend a rigid carbon ear cuff to adjust it. Follow the individual product's instructions when cleaning a metal insert. The carbon and meteorite guide explores these combinations further.

Compare the cord or chain length of a necklace, the size of a bracelet and the fit of an ear cuff. Made-to-order pieces take 2–4 weeks, often sooner; check the selected design’s product page for its lead time. For the international market, STRUGA objects are made in Bali and shipped worldwide, except to Belarus. Is carbon fiber jewelry durable?
Multi-layer matte carbon does not tarnish, needs no polishing and is water-resistant. In a combined piece, also consider its metal, cord and other components. Rigid carbon ear cuffs should not be bent to adjust their fit.

What are Bloody, Arctic and Toxic?
They are carbon palettes from STRUGA's range: Classic, Bloody, Toxic, Arctic, Winter and Multy Graphite. In a carbon piece's name they describe the material, rather than a silver finish.

How light is it?
Carbon ear cuffs in this selection weigh 0.3 g. The Carabiner #2 Big Cross bracelet, built from silver carabiners, weighs 130.28 g in the 21.5 cm version. The whole construction, including its metal, determines the weight.

What is MOSAIC?
MOSAIC is the STRUGA family built around combining materials: carbon with silver, meteorite, brass, copper or steel. CARBON and MOSAIC appeared in the brand's first pieces.

Does carbon change colour over time?
Carbon retains its palette and does not develop silver patina. Copper and silver components in a combined piece can darken through wear.

How do I care for carbon jewelry?
Wipe it with a soft dry cloth. Keep a suede cord away from prolonged soaking and oils, and do not bend carbon ear cuffs. Follow the individual product's instructions for its metal components.

Does every carbon piece contain 925 silver?
The materials vary. Aged combines carbon with aged copper; the light inlay in several Signature Asymmetric designs is silver-plated jewellery alloy. Cross V.3 and Carabiner #2 Big Cross contain 925 silver. Carbon Blade ear cuffs have no metal insert.

Is STRUGA carbon jewelry made in Bali?
For the international market, STRUGA objects are made in Bali. Made-to-order pieces take 2–4 weeks, often sooner. We ship worldwide except to Belarus.
