Where the brand started

STRUGA began with CARBON. The first tests, the first pieces were made of carbon — this is the beginning and the inspiration.

Multi-layered matte carbon: ultralight, unafraid of water, unchanged by time. It is the counterweight to silver — silver is alive, it darkens and patinas, while carbon stays the same.

Six palettes

STRUGA has its own line of signature carbon — palettes selected by the brand: Classic, Bloody, Toxic, Arctic, Winter and Fused Graphite. These are carbon palettes, not silver finishes: a piece named Bloody or Arctic is carbon in that palette.

CARBON is a CNC aesthetic, and carbon is cut on a CNC machine from sheet material — which is why the edges are sharp and the planes are even.

What is in this collection

Twenty-two pieces: fourteen necklaces, four ear cuffs, three bracelets, one earring.

Weights run from 0.3 grams — the lightest thing made here for the ear — to 95 grams for a full bracelet. That spread is the point of the material: a large form at a mass silver could not reach.

Carbon joined with other materials

MOSAIC is the aesthetic of combining materials. In MOSAIC, carbon is joined with silver, with meteorite, with brass, with copper, with steel. One is set into another, joined with a third in a single plane — and a composition of materials is the result. Nine pieces here carry MOSAIC; three of them include meteorite.

Silver ages, carbon does not

This is the practical difference and it decides which you want. Silver without rhodium plating reacts to air and skin: raised edges brighten, recesses darken, and after a year the piece reads as a map of how you wore it. Carbon is unaffected by water and unchanged by time — it stays exactly as it left the bench.

One material records you. The other refuses to.

Living with carbon

Nothing to polish and nothing to prevent. Matte carbon does not tarnish, does not need a cloth and does not mind water. Where a piece combines carbon with silver, care follows the silver: cloth or silver cleaner on the metal, and off before the pool.
