THE STORY OF THIS PIECE
The first form of the brand — and the form that began STRUGA’s central experiment: one form carried across different types of pieces, from a pendant to a carabiner. The aesthetic came from CNC-cut sheet material — sharp edges, even planes, recessed depth. It is the most widely represented form in the brand.

The original SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC form cut from Arctic Graphite carbon fiber — STRUGA's DNA in the coldest palette. Layered carbon with a light inlay of silver-plated jewellery alloy — metal, but not silver.
Arctic Graphite is one of six carbon palettes developed in-house: white, grey and pale blue layers evoking polar ice. This form launched the brand — the first SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC object, here in a frozen spectrum. CNC-cut from multi-layered matte carbon fiber, threaded onto a 75 cm suede cord. No silver, no hardware — the object is the material.
Ultralight, waterproof, permanent — carbon doesn't age. For those who want cold precision on the body — an object outside of time, material only.

Among the five carbon palettes nothing else changes: the form, the 5 grams and the price are identical, and each is made to order in about four weeks. Aged is carbon with aged copper at 17 g; Pyramid is the silver object of the family at 40 g. Carbon here is an individual commission, so the palette is chosen for the piece rather than picked off a shelf.
Who it is for, and when it gets worn
A pendant with a large silhouette and almost no weight: 5 grams on a suede cord. On the neck that reads as a visible object you stop noticing within an hour — the usual trade-off between size and weight does not apply.
It suits daily wear that needs no upkeep. Carbon is unbothered by water — the sea, a pool, a shower — and it neither darkens nor asks to be polished. The one part that does ask for care is the suede cord: keep it dry.
The cord is 75 cm with a sliding knot, so the drop can be shortened to sit near the collar or let out over a t-shirt, and it is worn by men and women alike. It also layers: a shorter chain above and this pendant hanging lower is how the family is usually worn — the second necklace in the photograph is exactly that.
