How much does the ring weigh, and how does it sit on the hand?
The Signature Links ring is 2.7 g of 925 sterling silver at size 16, and 6.0 g at size 22. It sits almost unnoticed on the finger and is made for everyday wear.
Why is it called a links ring?
Each link is designed as a separate element of the SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC form, and the links are joined into a single line around the finger. The result is a chain — and that chain is the ring.
How is V.1 different from V.2?
V.1 is a static line of links: slim, drawn as one line, lying flat on the hand. V.2 is built with freedom — the links are 3D-modelled with an offset, and the ring moves on the finger. V.1 is also the heavier of the two at the same size, 2.7 grams against 2.1 in size 16, and the lower price, from $96 against $120. Both versions share the same form — Signature Asymmetric.
Is this an open ring, and how do I choose my size?
Yes. The band carries a deliberate gap and holds by grip, as all Signature Asymmetric link rings do. Measure the finger you intend to wear it on, and if you fall between two sizes, choose the smaller one — the open band means a size one step small still goes on and sits closer. Sizes run 16 to 22, and both weight and price rise across that range: 2.7 g and $96 at size 16, 6.0 g and $188 at size 22. If you already own a STRUGA ring that fits the way you like, write to us through Custom Order and we will match it.
Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 silver without rhodium plating. The ring arrives light and darkens from air and skin: the recessed areas of the relief go dark, while friction lightens the raised edges. The patina is a property, not a defect. To bring the metal back to the light, care for it with a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths.
