THE STORY OF THIS PIECE
The first form of the brand — and the form that began STRUGA’s central experiment: one form carried across different types of pieces, from a pendant to a carabiner. The aesthetic came from CNC-cut sheet material — sharp edges, even planes, recessed depth. It is the most widely represented form in the brand.
Read the SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC form story→MOSAIC — the aesthetic of combining materials. In MOSAIC, carbon is joined with silver, with meteorite, with brass, with copper, with steel. One is set into another, joined with a third in a single plane — and a composition of materials is the result.

Signature Asymmetric Winter is a necklace cut from layered Winter Graphite carbon with an insert made from silver-plated jewellery alloy. The insert is metal, but it is not silver or 925 sterling silver. The object weighs 5 g, hangs from a 75 cm suede cord, costs $165, and is made to order in about four weeks.
Material: layered Winter Graphite carbon; the light insert is silver-plated jewellery alloy — metal, but not silver and not 925.
World and family: RITUAL → MOSAIC, carbon with a metal inlay; the form is SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC — the first form of the brand, born in the CODEX world.
Form: an asymmetric plane cut from sheet carbon, a rectangular light insert set flush into it.
Weight and cord: 5 g on a black suede cord, 75 cm.
Price: $165.
Lead time: made to order, about four weeks.
Care: a soft dry cloth is enough; harsh chemicals and ultrasonic cleaning are not needed.
What is the Signature Asymmetric Winter necklace made from?
The base is CNC-cut from sheet Winter Graphite carbon. White layers run through the black-grey plane and create a winter pattern that varies with every cut. A rectangular light STRUGA insert made from silver-plated jewellery alloy is set into the carbon. Silver-plated describes the insert's surface, not its composition; it carries no 925 mark and is not sold as silver.

Who is this necklace for, and when does it work?
Winter is for someone who wants high-contrast but quiet black-and-white graphics. At 5 g it adds little load, while the 75 cm cord places the pendant over a T-shirt, shirt or dense outer layer. The pattern reads as a cross-section of layered material rather than a printed image. This is not a silver pendant, so the carbon does not develop patina. Choose another Graphite palette for a colour accent, or a silver SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC version for more weight and a surface that changes with wear.
The long placement leaves open space above the pendant and keeps its black-and-white cross-section clear over a closed layer.
About STRUGA. STRUGA is a dark silver jewelry brand founded by Dmitry Strugovshchikov and Ekaterina Strugovshchikova; its silver is handcrafted in Bali by master silversmiths. This necklace is not silver: the plane is cut from layered Winter Graphite carbon, and the light inlay is silver-plated jewellery alloy.
