A cord carries weight that a chain of the same visual weight could not. It sits closer to the body, moves with it, and puts nothing metallic against the back of the neck.

Why a cord instead of a chain

Thirteen pendants here, from 4 to 80 grams, Rp 2,940,000 to Rp 8,020,000. The heavy end of that range is exactly why the cord exists. Each piece is made to order in about two weeks.

What these are made of

Thirteen pieces in three groups: seven are matte carbon on its own, four join carbon with 925 sterling silver, and two are silver with Seymchan meteorite. Carbon is what lets a large form stay at a mass the neck can carry all day.

Multi-layered matte carbon is ultralight, unafraid of water, unchanged by time. It is the counterweight to silver — silver is alive, it darkens and patinas, while carbon stays the same.

Materials joined

MOSAIC is the aesthetic of combining materials. In MOSAIC, carbon is joined with silver, with meteorite, with brass, with copper, with steel. Five pieces here carry it outright.

Across the selection: copper in five, steel in four, meteorite in three, brass in two.

Weight and how it wears

At 4 grams a pendant is barely present. At 80 — the two Seymchan meteorite pieces — it is an object you are aware of all day, and on a cord that awareness sits as weight on the chest rather than pressure on the neck.

Nine pieces carry EXPERIMENTAL from the LAB world; eight carry SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC, the first form of the brand.

Care

Keep the cord dry — it is the part that ages fastest, and it is the part that can be replaced. Silver takes cloth or silver cleaner; carbon needs nothing. Take the piece off before the pool.
