THE STORY OF THIS PIECE
The first form of the brand — and the form that began STRUGA’s central experiment: one form carried across different types of pieces, from a pendant to a carabiner. The aesthetic came from CNC-cut sheet material — sharp edges, even planes, recessed depth. It is the most widely represented form in the brand.

The form is reduced to a single line. The plate is narrow and tall, its ends rounded; along the side edge you can see that the carbon is layered, the layers running the full length. The face is not flat: a window is cut into it, and inside the window lies a pale inlay with a dense diamond pattern — the one detail that catches light. Above it sits the cast 925 silver bail, wide at the chain and narrowing towards the plate. The necklace comes on a silver anchor chain with a clasp.
Carbon and silver live differently here, and that is the point. Carbon is ultralight, unafraid of water and unchanged by time — the plate stays exactly as it arrived. Uncoated silver darkens from air and skin: the recesses gather shadow, friction lightens the raised edges. Eight grams with the chain is a weight the neck does not read: under a t-shirt the plate lies flat, over a sweater it works as a single vertical line. Carbon is indifferent to showers, rain and swimming pools, so the piece can stay on; a dry cloth is all it asks, and the silver is cleaned separately whenever you want the light tone back.
