How much does the cross ring weigh, and how does it sit on the hand?
The weight depends on the size: 3.7 g at 16 mm inner diameter and up to 9.0 g at 22 mm. You feel the weight on the finger, but it never drags the hand down. The form is compact and holds up to everyday wear.
Is the cross laid on top of the ring, or is it part of the form?
The cross is the structure of the ring, not an applied piece. It does not sit on top and it is not suspended: four rods run out from the centre inside a round frame and hold the form. The ring is cast whole, with no seam between the band and the cross.
How do I choose my size?
The size here is the inner diameter of the ring in millimetres, from 16 to 22 mm. Measure the inner diameter of a ring that already sits the way you want on that finger and pick the nearest value. Between two sizes, take the smaller one.
Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 silver with no rhodium plating. The ring arrives light and darkens with air and skin: the recesses between the rods deepen, while friction keeps the raised edges bright. This patina is a property, not a defect. To bring the metal back to the light, care for it with a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths.
What is the FUSED family?
FUSED is a STRUGA family from the world of LAB — the aesthetic of molten metal: pieces have no clear borders, angles or edges, and the whole surface is wavy and melted. Sometimes a piece is fully melted and made of silver alone, as this ring is; sometimes melted silver spreads across another material. Handmade in Bali, Indonesia.
