THORN ear cuff — a sharp-edged frame at the height of the ear, STRUGA's CNC signature carried without a piercing.
THORN is the design code born from STRUGA's earliest CNC work: links with sharp edges, industrial geometry, the same family as THORN bracelets and chains. On the ear, the form becomes a compact architectural brace, edges deliberately sharp — the cuff makes its presence known without asking for attention. A wax model, a silicone form, 925 silver, and hand finishing. Living Silver finish.

Do I need a piercing to wear the cuff?
No. The cuff sits on the upper edge of the ear with no piercing required: gently press the band to the ear and it holds its shape. It comes off just as easily.
How much does the cuff weigh, and how does it feel on the ear?
The THORN cuff is 2.6 g of 925 sterling silver, size L. It is light, and you barely feel its weight on the ear. The edges are deliberately sharp — THORN lightly pricks the skin and keeps making itself noticed.
How does size L differ from the smaller cuffs?
L is the large size in the family: the form reads more clearly on the ear and holds more confidently. If you want something more compact, the THORN family also includes cuffs in smaller sizes.
Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 silver without rhodium plating. The cuff arrives light and darkens with air and skin: the recessed areas of the relief darken, while friction lightens the raised edges. The patina is a property, not a defect. You can bring the metal back to the light with care: a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths.
