A cleaver cast in silver, then deliberately destroyed — bent, fractured and blackened until the blade reads as something dug out of the ground. This is the Asymmetric Destroyed pendant.
The pendant hangs on a plain silver chain: the chain stays quiet, the cleaver carries the whole statement. A wax model, a silicone form, 925 silver, and hand finishing — then the blade is pulled out of perfection, deformed and oxidized into a dark, ruined object. The piece belongs to the RITUAL world of STRUGA, where dark fashion lives. Blackened finish.

About STRUGA. STRUGA is a dark silver jewelry brand founded by Dmitry Strugovshchikov and Ekaterina Strugovshchikova, handcrafted in our Bali workshop by master silversmiths. Every piece is 925 sterling silver, naturally oxidized or hand-patinated. The darkening is part of the design. It is a brutalist object that reacts and changes through contact with the environment and the wearer.

How much does the pendant weigh, and how does it sit on the chain?
The pendant is 40 grams of 925 sterling silver. It is a heavy object — you feel its weight on the chain and against the body. The chain itself is plain silver: the whole statement is carried by the splitter alone.
Why is the form destroyed — is that intentional?
Yes. The splitter is cast in silver and then deliberately taken out of its perfect form: bent, fractured, and oxidized to the state of something dug out of the ground. The destruction here is the intent, not a flaw.
Is the chain included, and can it be changed?

Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 silver without rhodium plating. The finish is blackened, so the surface is darkened in advance; from there the silver keeps reacting to air and skin: the recesses of the relief deepen, friction lightens the raised edges. The patina is a property, not a defect. You can bring the metal back toward the light with care — a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths.

SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC is the first form of STRUGA, from the CODEX world. Its aesthetic came out of CNC machining of sheet material: sharp edges, flat planes, recessed cuts.
