Frequently asked questions
How much does the cross ring weigh, and how does it sit on the hand?
The cross ring is 3.7 g of 925 sterling silver. You feel its weight on the finger, but it never drags the hand down. The form is compact and holds up to everyday wear.
Is the cross laid on top of the ring, or is it part of the form?
The cross is the body of the ring, not an applied piece. It does not sit on top and it is not suspended: the ring's own form is the cross. The ring is a single whole, with no seam between the band and the cross.
How do I choose my size?
Measure the finger you intend to wear it on. Between two sizes, take the smaller one. If you already own a STRUGA ring that fits the way you want, reach out through Custom Order and we will match it.
Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 silver with no rhodium plating. The ring arrives light and darkens with air and skin: the recesses of the relief deepen, while friction keeps the raised edges bright. This patina is a property, not a defect. To bring the metal back to the light, care for it with a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths.
What is the FUSED family?
FUSED is a STRUGA family from the world of LAB: the silver is fused, without sharp edges, its surface uneven and molten. It gathers objects whose form rests on fused metal rather than on clean ridges. Handcrafted in Bali, Indonesia.
