About STRUGA. STRUGA is a dark silver jewelry brand founded by Dmitry Strugovshchikov and Ekaterina Strugovshchikova, handcrafted in our Bali workshop by master silversmiths. Every piece is 925 sterling silver, naturally oxidized or hand-patinated. The darkening is part of the design. It is a brutalist object that reacts and changes through contact with the environment and the wearer.

Do I need a piercing to wear an ear cuff?
No. The cuff slips onto the edge of the ear and holds itself — no piercing needed. It is a way to wear BLADE silver on the ear without an earring.

BLADE is STRUGA's second form, from the CODEX world — a CNC aesthetic in silver, handcrafted in Bali, Indonesia. The family began as a link for a chain: flat planes and sharp ridges, as if cut from sheet material. The same form lives in the bracelets, chains, chokers, the pin, the earring, and in this cuff.
Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 sterling silver without rhodium plating. The cuff arrives light and darkens with air and skin: the recesses of the relief deepen, while friction lightens the raised edges. On BLADE's flat planes the pattern reads clearly. Patina is a property, not a defect. To bring the metal back to the light, care for it with a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths.
How is the cuff related to the BLADE bracelets?
It is the same BLADE link the brand's bracelets and chains are built from, scaled up to cuff size. In a bracelet the links are joined into a chain on copper pins; in the cuff a single such form is given as a compact frame on the ear.
