How much does the ring weigh and how does it sit on the hand?
The ring is 2.1 grams of 925 sterling silver. It is light and you barely register its weight on the finger. The links are movable, so the ring flexes a little and shifts with your hand as you move.
How is V.2 different from V.1?
V.1 is a static line of links. V.2 is built with freedom: the links are 3D-modelled with an offset, and the ring moves on the finger. V.2 also looks the heavier of the two while weighing less — 2.1 grams against 2.7 in size 16. Both versions share the same form — Signature Asymmetric.
Is this an open ring, and how do I choose my size?
Yes. The band carries a deliberate gap and holds by grip, as all Signature Asymmetric link rings do. Measure the finger you intend to wear it on, and if you fall between two sizes, choose the smaller one — the open band means a size one step small still goes on and sits closer. If you already own a STRUGA ring that fits the way you like, write to us through Custom Order and we will match it.
Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 silver without rhodium plating. The ring arrives light and darkens with air and skin: the recesses of the relief darken, while friction lightens the raised edges. On the movable links the patina settles into the joints and reads clearly. This is a property, not a defect. You can return the metal to the light with care: a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths.
What is the Signature Asymmetric family?
Signature Asymmetric is STRUGA's first form, from the world of CODEX. Its aesthetic came out of CNC machining of sheet material: sharp edges, even planes, recessed cuts. The brand carries a single form through different objects — from a chain link and a clasp to this ring.
