The first form of the brand — and the form that began STRUGA’s central experiment: one form carried across different types of pieces, from a pendant to a carabiner. The aesthetic came from CNC-cut sheet material — sharp edges, even planes, recessed depth. It is the most widely represented form in the brand.

The earring is two parts. The hoop passes through the lobe and shuts with a click. The carabiner hangs from it: an elongated body with flat facets, a spring gate along one side. Press the gate, it opens; release it, it snaps back. The mechanism is not a picture of hardware — it works, and it is what holds the carabiner on the hoop. On the ear the piece sits about a finger's width below the lobe and turns with movement, so the facets take light from different angles.

Who it is for, and when
The earring is sold as one piece, so it goes where a pair would be wrong: into a second piercing beside a stud, or alone in one lobe against an empty ear. How does the earring attach, and does it need a pierced ear?
It goes into a pierced lobe. The upper part is a small hoop that passes through the piercing and shuts with a click; the carabiner hangs from that hoop. There is no butterfly back to lose and nothing to screw on.
How much does the earring weigh, and how does it feel in the ear?
The earring is 2.5 grams of 925 sterling silver — among the lightest objects in the catalogue. The lobe barely registers it. The carabiner hangs about a finger's width below and moves freely, without pulling on the ear.
Does the carabiner actually work, or is it only the shape?
The mechanism works. Press the spring gate and it opens; release it and it snaps shut. That gate is what holds the carabiner on the hoop, and it will clip to a bag ring or a belt loop just as well. It is the same carabiner form that closes chains and bracelets in the family.
Is the earring sold singly or as a pair?
