About STRUGA. STRUGA is a dark silver jewelry brand founded by Dmitry Strugovshchikov and Ekaterina Strugovshchikova, handcrafted in our Bali workshop by master silversmiths. Every piece is 925 sterling silver, naturally oxidized or hand-patinated. The darkening is part of the design. It is a brutalist object that reacts and changes through contact with the environment and the wearer.

How much does the ear cuff weigh and how does it sit on the ear?
The cuff is 0.5 grams of 925 sterling silver — the smallest size in the family. On the ear it is almost weightless; in profile it reads as a single edge. This is the SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC form at micro scale.
Do I need a piercing to wear the cuff?
No piercing is needed. The cuff clips onto the rim of the ear — it goes on and comes off without any hole in the lobe. Wear it on its own, or line up several along the edge of the ear.
How does size S differ from the other cuffs in the family?
It is the same SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC form, reduced to micro scale. Size S sits closer to the rim of the ear and stays nearly unnoticed until you catch it in profile.
Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 sterling silver without rhodium plating. The cuff arrives light and darkens with air and skin: the recesses of the relief deepen, while friction lifts the raised edges back to brightness. Patina is a property, not a defect. To return the metal to the light, wipe it with a soft cloth or use a silver-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths.
