A natural aquamarine inside a medium silver cylinder — the mid-size reading of the Classic Amulet.
Aquamarine is a beryl coloured by iron; its name comes from the Latin aqua marina — sea water. Pliny the Elder described the stone as if it had been lifted from a mermaid's treasure chest in the depths of a summer sea. Classic Amulet is STRUGA's silver-tube series: a cylindrical frame that holds the crystal in the open, without facets or prongs. A raw aquamarine keeps the hexagonal prisms and the long hollow tubes inside the crystal — the record a cut stone erases. 925 silver, handmade. Living Silver — the cylinder will darken with time.

About STRUGA. STRUGA is a dark silver jewelry brand founded by Dmitry Strugovshchikov and Ekaterina Strugovshchikova, handcrafted in our Bali workshop by master silversmiths. Every piece is 925 sterling silver, naturally oxidized or hand-patinated. The darkening is part of the design. It is a brutalist object that reacts and changes through contact with the environment and the wearer.

The stone is real — a natural aquamarine, a variety of beryl. A silver cylinder holds it open, without facets and without a clasping setting. The aquamarine is left uncut: it keeps its natural facets and the hollow tubes inside — the trace of its own growth.
Are all Classic Amulet earrings the same?
No. This is a single object: the stone, its colour and its pattern belong to this earring alone. Number #6 is one specific piece — there is no second one like it.
Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 silver without rhodium plating. The earring arrives light and darkens with air and skin: the recesses of the relief go dark, while friction lightens the raised edges. The patina is a property, not a defect. You can bring the metal back to the light with care: a soft cloth, or a silver-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths; clean the stone gently, without heat.
