How is it different from Thorn, E-0528?

Thorn guards the stone with angles; Classic gets out of its way. Classic is the quieter of the two flagship models, and the one where the crystal does the work.

Can a piece from the archive be repeated?

The form can, the stone cannot. Every piece is built around one hand-selected crystal, so a new order on the same form arrives with a different stone. Making one takes about two weeks.

Which stones are in the archive?

Tourmaline in 8 earrings, aquamarine in 3, quartz in the 4 necklaces. The three studs hold a natural crystal that is not identified by species in the catalogue.

From 2.25 grams for the smallest stud to 40 grams for a quartz necklace. The stone decides the mass entirely.

Are they all unplated silver?

Thirteen are. Five tourmaline earrings - 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 - carry black oxidation, a surface darkened in advance at the bench rather than by wear.

Cloth or silver cleaner on the metal, never ultrasonic. Raw crystals keep internal fractures that cutting would have removed.

The weight follows the stone: from 2.25 grams for the smallest stud to 40 grams for a quartz necklace.

One stone, one piece

Using less silver is harder, not easier. Every contact point has to hold a stone that was never cut to a predictable shape, and with less metal there are fewer places to hide a compromise.

So the setting is built for one crystal and follows its geometry. The form can be repeated to order; the stone cannot. The next one will be a different stone — ask for a similar piece and that is what you are asking for.

Two finishes in the archive

Thirteen pieces are unplated 925 silver. That is living silver: it darkens on its own, on the hand of whoever wears it, and silver cleaner reverses it whenever you want.

Five tourmaline earrings — numbers 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28 — are made with black oxidation instead. There the surface was darkened in advance, at the bench, and it is meant to stay that way.
