Frequently asked questions
How much does the earring weigh, and how is it worn?
The earring is 2.5 grams of 925 sterling silver, size S, the smallest. It is a mono earring: one piece, worn in a single ear. Light, and suited to everyday wear.
Is the stone genuine, and is it held securely?
The stone is a natural green tourmaline (verdelite), uncut and wild-grown. It is held by the open silver cylinder of the Classic Amulet — no facets, no setting over the top; the stone sits within the cylinder itself. Every stone is its own in color and character, and no two are alike.
Why does the green look different from different angles?
Tourmaline is pleochroic: its color shifts with the angle you view the crystal from. From one side the green reads cooler and darker; from another it leans toward olive. This is a natural property of the stone, not a defect.
Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 silver without rhodium plating. The earring arrives light and darkens with air and skin: the recesses of the relief deepen, while friction lightens the raised edges. The patina is a property, not a defect. You can bring the metal back to the light with care: a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths, so as not to disturb the stone.
What is the AMULET family?
AMULET is a STRUGA family from the RITUAL world: earrings and necklaces built around uncut, wild-grown stones. The Classic type is the quietest of them — a Japanese reading of minimalism: a silver cylinder holds the stone openly, with no superfluous setting. Handcrafted in Bali, Indonesia.
