each link is cast from a wax model in 925 silver, then assembled by hand into a 120-cm length. The asymmetric form — the foundation of the entire STRUGA language — reads as a continuous rhythm rather than a single object. Living Silver finish.

About STRUGA. STRUGA is a dark silver jewelry brand founded by Dmitry Strugovshchikov and Ekaterina Strugovshchikova, handcrafted in our Bali workshop by master silversmiths. Every piece is 925 sterling silver, naturally oxidized or hand-patinated. The darkening is part of the design. It is a brutalist object that reacts and changes through contact with the environment and the wearer.

SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC is the first numbered form by STRUGA — the founding family of the CODEX world, where the brand began. Its aesthetic came out of CNC machining of sheet material: sharp edges, flat planes, recessed cuts. In this chain the form became a link and repeats along the entire length.
Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 sterling silver without rhodium plating. The chain arrives light and darkens with air and skin: the recesses of the relief deepen while friction lightens the raised edges. On links with pronounced recesses, the patina reads clearly. Patina is a property, not a defect. To bring the metal back to light, care for it with a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths.
How is this chain made?
Each link is modelled first — in 3D or by hand in wax. A silicone mould is taken from the wax model and the silver is cast. The maker then assembles the cast links into a chain by hand, one after another, and finishes it by hand. Handcrafted in Bali, Indonesia.
