Frequently asked questions
How heavy is the Asymmetric Fused Bloody, and how does it sit on the body?
The piece weighs 80g. You feel it — that's intentional. The Signature Asymmetric form sits off-center on the chest, with the meteorite, copper, steel, and Bloody Graphite carbon distributed across the silhouette so the weight reads as presence, not pressure. The 75 cm braided nylon cord with medical steel beads keeps it stable through movement. Most wearers stop noticing the mass within a day, but the object itself stays felt — which is the point.
Can I adjust the cord length, or order a different configuration?
Yes. The standard cord is 75 cm braided nylon with medical steel beads, which sits mid-chest on most builds. If you need it shorter or longer, write to us before shipping and we'll set the length you want at no extra cost. Deeper changes — different metal balance, a specific Seymchan fragment, alternative finishes — go through Custom Order. The Asymmetric Fused Bloody is the DNA of STRUGA, so the silhouette stays, but the materials around it can shift.
How do I care for the meteorite, copper, and carbon fiber together?
Three different materials, three behaviors. The Seymchan meteorite is iron-nickel and will rust if left wet — wipe it dry after sweat or rain, and once a month rub a thin film of mineral or gun oil over the metal surfaces. Aged Copper will keep darkening; that's the Living Silver logic applied to copper, and it's intended. Bloody Graphite carbon needs nothing. Avoid showers, pools, and ultrasonic cleaners. Store flat, not coiled tight.
Is it built for daily wear, or is this more of a statement piece?
Built for daily. This is the necklace STRUGA was born from, and it was designed to be worn as an inseparable attribute — under a shirt, over a jacket, through work and travel. The carbon is structural, the copper and steel are cast solid, and the Seymchan is stable once oiled. The cord and beads are replaceable if they ever wear through. Nothing here is decorative-only. The piece ages with you — that's part of how it reads correctly over time.
What makes this the starting point of STRUGA, and not just another necklace?
Four materials from four origins fused into one form: Seymchan from space, copper and steel from the Earth, Bloody Graphite carbon cut by hand. The Widmanstätten pattern in the meteorite formed over millions of years of slow cooling — no process replicates it, and every fragment is unique. The Signature Asymmetric silhouette is the brand's DNA; every later piece refers back to it. Handcrafted one at a time. This isn't a piece from a collection — the collection came from this.
