V.4 is the evolved geometry of STRUGA's original cross — refined proportions, a second cross of steel set into the carbon body, and a silver carabiner that opens the piece like a functional object. Bloody Graphite is one of six carbon palettes developed in-house: red veins run through black and graphite, never repeating across pieces. Waterproof, ultralight, permanent. The silver bail evolves through Living Silver while the carbon stays unchanged. On a 75 cm suede cord.

About STRUGA. STRUGA is a dark silver jewelry brand founded by Dmitry Strugovshchikov and Ekaterina Strugovshchikova, handcrafted in our Bali workshop by master silversmiths. Every piece is 925 sterling silver, naturally oxidized or hand-patinated. The darkening is part of the design. It is a brutalist object that reacts and changes through contact with the environment and the wearer.

What is this cross made of?
The body is multilayer matte carbon in the Bloody palette: black and graphite shot through with red veins. Set into it is a second cross of stainless steel. Why is the pattern different on every cross?
Bloody is one of STRUGA's six carbon palettes. The red veins run through the black and graphite and settle differently in each sheet of carbon, so no two crosses are alike: yours will carry a pattern of its own.
The silver will darken — what about the carbon?
Carbon doesn't change: it isn't troubled by water and stays the same over time. Only the silver carabiner will darken — this is Living Silver, 925 silver without plating. The recesses darken; friction lightens the raised edges. Patina is a property, not a defect; you can bring the carabiner back to the light with a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Carbon cleans simply, with no harsh chemicals.
