RITUAL Necklaces
What these are
Twenty-four necklaces from the RITUAL world — the dark side of STRUGA, where objects carry personal symbolic weight. Symbolic weight here means what the object means to its owner, not a promise of any effect.
Seventeen of the twenty-four combine carbon with silver rather than using either alone. That combination is the material language of this part of the brand.
Materials joined, not chosen
MOSAIC is the aesthetic of combining materials. In MOSAIC, carbon is joined with silver, with meteorite, with brass, with copper, with steel. One is set into another, joined with a third in a single plane — and a composition of materials is the result.
Across these necklaces: copper in eight, steel in six, meteorite in four, brass in four, quartz in four. Eight pieces carry MOSAIC outright; the rest borrow its logic.
Weight and scale
From 4 grams to 80 grams — a factor of twenty. The light end is carbon on a cord; the heavy end is a full silver object that announces itself on the chest.
Carbon is what makes the large end wearable: multi-layered matte carbon is ultralight, unafraid of water, unchanged by time. It is the counterweight to silver — silver is alive, it darkens and patinas, while carbon stays the same.
Two materials, two behaviours
On a piece that joins both, the difference becomes visible over a year: the silver darkens in its recesses and brightens where it rubs, while the carbon beside it holds exactly the tone it started with. The contrast between the two grows on its own.
Where a piece includes meteorite, that surface is a third behaviour again — a material that predates the object it is set into.
What we do not claim
We do not sell protection, energy or healing, and no stone or metal here is charged or attuned to anything. What people believed about these materials is cultural history; it belongs in an article rather than on a price tag.
Meaning is something you bring. We supply the object.
Care
Silver: cloth or silver cleaner, whenever you want it lighter. Carbon: nothing to do. Pieces with raw stones must not go into ultrasonic cleaning — raw crystals keep the internal fractures that cutting would have removed. Take silver off before the pool.
Frequently asked questions
What is the RITUAL world?
RITUAL is a world within STRUGA - the dark side of the brand, where objects carry personal symbolic weight. Symbolic weight means meaning for the owner, not a promised effect.
Are these silver or carbon?
Seventeen of the twenty-four combine carbon with silver rather than using either alone. Each listing states the materials.
What is MOSAIC?
The aesthetic of combining materials: carbon joined with silver, meteorite, brass, copper or steel, one set into another in a single plane.
How heavy are they?
From 4 grams to 80 grams. The light end is carbon on a cord; the heavy end is a full silver object.
Do the stones or metals have any properties?
Not that we will claim. Beliefs about materials are cultural history; we sell the object, not an effect.
How do I care for a mixed piece?
Silver takes cloth or silver cleaner; carbon needs nothing. Never use ultrasonic cleaning on pieces with raw stones.
