About STRUGA. STRUGA is a dark silver jewelry brand founded by Dmitry Strugovshchikov and Ekaterina Strugovshchikova, handcrafted in our Bali workshop by master silversmiths. Every piece is 925 sterling silver, naturally oxidized or hand-patinated. The darkening is part of the design. It is a brutalist object that reacts and changes through contact with the environment and the wearer.

How much does the necklace weigh, and how long is the chain?
The heart is 5 grams of 925 sterling silver. There is one chain, 75 cm long. The link construction lets the clasp catch at 65 cm and 55 cm as well, so the length is set by the fastening.
Is the heart really made from wire?
No. The heart is drawn as a wire outline — that is the SIGNATURE HEART aesthetic, the lightest reading of the form. The piece itself is cast in 925 sterling silver: the form is modelled, cast, and finished by hand.
Can the chain length be adjusted?
Yes. The base length is 75 cm. Thanks to the link construction, the clasp also catches at two further points, 65 cm and 55 cm. You adjust it with the fastening — no separate order for a set length is needed.
Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 sterling silver without rhodium plating. The necklace arrives light and darkens from air and skin: the recesses of the relief darken while friction lightens the raised edges. The patina is a property, not a defect; across the wide planes of the heart it reads more clearly. You can bring the metal back to light with care: a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths.
