Frequently asked questions
How much does the cross weigh, and how does it hang on the chain?
The carbon cross weighs 4 grams — exceptionally light, barely felt against the chest. The chain runs 75 cm, so the object sits low. It carries easily for everyday wear.
What is the cross made of?
The form is cut from multilayer carbon in the Arctic Graphite palette — a cold white-blue, matte. Set within the composition is a stainless steel insert. Carbon paired with an insert of another material: this is the principle of the MOSAIC family.
Does the carbon darken and develop a patina, like silver?
No. Carbon is the counterpoint to silver: silver is living — it darkens and takes on a patina, while carbon stays as it was. Its colour and surface do not shift over time, and water does not trouble it. The object looks the same as it did on the first day.
How do you care for carbon?
Carbon needs no care against darkening — it does not darken. A wipe with a soft cloth is enough. Water, sweat and the shower leave it unbothered. The steel insert can be wiped down with a cloth in the same way.
What is the CARBON family?
CARBON is a STRUGA family from the RITUAL world — the one the brand began with. It is multilayer matte carbon: ultralight, water-resistant, unchanging — the counterpoint to living silver. STRUGA keeps its own line of in-house carbon palettes, cut from sheet material on a CNC machine.
