Care Carbon needs no polishing. The silver elements (Living Silver) darken and develop a patina over time — this is by design; the silver can be cleaned separately if you wish.

THE STORY OF THIS PIECE

The first form of the brand — where STRUGA began. The first form of the brand. STRUGA began with it — and so did the project’s central experiment: take one form and carry it across different types of pieces.

Read the SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC form story→

The SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC form in Bloody Graphite carbon fiber, fused to a 925 silver plate — the MOSAIC principle in STRUGA's most intense palette.

Two materials bonded as a single object: CNC-cut carbon and cast silver, joined permanently. Bloody Graphite is one of six carbon palettes developed in-house — red layers bleeding through black and graphite, visible only in this material. The silver element adds mass and Living Silver evolution — the carbon stays permanent while the silver darkens over time. On a 75 cm suede cord.

Lightweight enough to forget it's there, vivid enough that others won't. For those who want the STRUGA DNA in color, not monochrome.

Material: CNC-cut carbon fiber fused permanently to a 925 silver plate — two materials as one object.

Palette: Bloody Graphite, one of STRUGA's six carbon palettes — red layers surfacing through black and graphite.

Form: SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC, the brand's first form. Family: MOSAIC — materials combined within a single plane.

Finish: the silver is Living Silver (925, no rhodium) — it darkens on its own over time; the carbon stays unchanged, so the contrast deepens. Patina is a property, not a defect.

Care: soft cloth or silver-cleaning solution returns the silver to light; the carbon just needs a wipe.

About STRUGA. STRUGA is a dark silver jewelry brand founded by Dmitry Strugovshchikov and Ekaterina Strugovshchikova, handcrafted in our Bali workshop by master silversmiths. Every piece is 925 sterling silver, naturally oxidized or hand-patinated. The darkening is part of the design. It is a brutalist object that reacts and changes through contact with the environment and the wearer.

Frequently asked questions

How much does the necklace weigh, and how long is the cord?

The object weighs 9 grams. Carbon is ultralight and there is only a little silver here, so the necklace is barely felt on the neck. It hangs on a suede cord 75 cm long.

What is the necklace made of — silver or carbon?

Both. A carbon plate in the Bloody Graphite palette is fused with 925 silver. Bringing two materials together in a single object is the MOSAIC family. The form is SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC, the brand's first form.

What is the Bloody Graphite palette?

Bloody Graphite is one of STRUGA's six carbon palettes. The carbon is layered and matte: red layers surface through the black and graphite. Carbon is light, unaffected by water, and does not change over time.

Why does the silver darken while the carbon does not?

The silver here is Living Silver — 925 without rhodium plating. It is alive: it darkens from air and skin, the recesses of the relief go dark, and friction lightens the raised edges. Carbon works differently — it does not change over time. So the contrast between the two materials only deepens. The patina on silver is a property, not a defect; you can bring it back to light with a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. The carbon simply needs a wipe.

What is the MOSAIC family?

MOSAIC is a STRUGA family built on combining materials: carbon set together with silver, meteorite, copper, brass, steel — one inlaid into another within a single plane, forming a composition. This necklace is Bloody Graphite carbon fused with silver.
