V.3 is one chapter in STRUGA's growing BRUTALISM series — a family of rings born from a collaboration with an architect who shares the brand's love for Soviet brutalist architecture. Each version of BRUTALISM is its own object: V.1 is the raw Living Silver original, V.3 is the same architectural geometry run through Dark Treatment, and more versions are coming — different geometries, the same design code. Black oxidation deepens what a polished surface hides: facets, chips, deliberate roughness. A wax model, a silicone form, 925 silver, and a blackened finish.

Every piece is 925 sterling silver, naturally oxidized or hand-patinated. The darkening is part of the design. It is a brutalist object that reacts and changes through contact with the environment and the wearer.

How do I care for the black oxidation? Will it wear off?
The Dark Treatment is a chemical blackening that lives in the recesses of the form — exactly where polishing can't reach in daily wear. Raised surfaces will lighten over time and pick up natural contrast; that's intended. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners, chlorine, and silver dips, all of which strip oxidation. To clean, use warm water, mild soap, a soft brush in the crevices, and dry fully. If the dark layer ever fades, I can re-blacken it.
Can V.3 be customized — different finish, metal, or geometry?
Yes. V.3 is one chapter of the Brutalism series, so the design code is fixed but the execution is open. Through Custom Order I can run this geometry in raw Living Silver (the V.1 treatment), in Dark Union pairings, or adjust proportions for your hand. Engraving inside the band is possible. Gold versions and stone settings are case-by-case — write to me with what you have in mind and I'll tell you honestly what works on this form.
Is this ring suitable for everyday wear?
Yes, it's built for it. 925 silver, handcrafted, solid cast — no hollow sections, no fragile prongs. The facets and deliberate roughness are part of the design code, so small marks from daily use add to the object rather than damage it. I'd take it off for the gym, heavy lifting, and swimming pools (chlorine eats the oxidation). Otherwise, wear it. The Brutalism series is meant to live on the hand, not in a box.
