AMULET — STRUGA earrings and necklaces built around raw, wild-growth stones. The amulets of this family differ widely — from quiet and classic, a Japanese reading of minimalism, to large and declarative. The most expressive is the THORN amulet: a halved-torpedo form with a crystal grown inside; an homage to Daniel Arsham.

A raw green tourmaline hanging clear of the small Thorn Amulet — the only bright-silver small in the line that carries a green stone.
This is a single mono-earring for one ear: 925 sterling silver, size S, 3.9 grams, article E-0528-S. The price is $160, Rp 2,850,000. This exact earring is sold, and the stone in it cannot be repeated.
It is built from two parts. The clasp is a hinged U-shaped huggie with four short thorns, two to a side, and STRUGA stamped down its flat face. A jump ring carries the amulet under it: a short silver body cut on a long diagonal, with small barbs near its top and the hallmarks struck beside them. The small body is short, so the tourmaline comes out of the cut and hangs in the open. The whole crystal is visible, from the silver down to its blunt end.
Thorn Amulet is a type within the AMULET family, voiced through the RITUAL world. Its form is a torpedo cut in half, as if found in the ground thousands of years later, with a crystal grown inside — an homage to Daniel Arsham. The THORN geometry behind it brings together two aesthetics, CNC and 3D-modelling; it began as a chain link and is carried here in volume.
The stone is a wild-growth green tourmaline — uncut, unset, glossy, with fine lengthwise striations down the prism. The green is saturated here, grass turning to olive in the light. Four of the eighteen Thorn Amulet earrings in the catalogue carry a green tourmaline, and two of those four sit on blackened bodies; this is the bright one at the small size. At 3.9 grams it stands at the top of the small size together with earring #12, where the rest of the smalls sit at 3.5. Made this way: the form is modelled first, in 3D or in wax. A silicone mould is taken from the model and the silver is cast. The master finishes the body by hand, then picks the stone and seats it in the opening. This tourmaline was chosen for this body alone.

Who wears it, and when
This is one earring for one ear, not half of a pair. The drop is short: the clasp sits in the lobe and the crystal ends around the line of the jaw, so it clears a collar instead of catching on it. At 3.9 grams it is felt on the lobe without pulling at it through a working day. Earring #22 is the same stone read the opposite way: on a blackened body the green stops being a highlight and becomes the only light in the object.
