About STRUGA. STRUGA is a dark silver jewelry brand founded by Dmitry Strugovshchikov and Ekaterina Strugovshchikova, handcrafted in our Bali workshop by master silversmiths. Every piece is 925 sterling silver, naturally oxidized or hand-patinated. The darkening is part of the design. It is a brutalist object that reacts and changes through contact with the environment and the wearer.

How much does the earring weigh, and what size is it?
4.9 grams of 925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver. Size M is the central proportion of the Thorn Amulet, the one the line was built on: present in the ear, but not heavy.
Is the stone held by prongs?
No. The grey tourmaline is a raw, wild-grown stone, left uncut. The silver holds it inside the diagonal cut of the torpedo, without prongs. Stone and metal sit in the same cold palette.
Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 silver without rhodium plating. The earring darkens with air and skin: the recesses of the relief deepen, while friction lightens the raised edges. The patina is a property, not a defect. You can bring the metal back to the light with care — a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Work around the stone.
