Frequently asked questions
What is this pendant made of, and what does it weigh?
The form is CNC-cut from layered Arctic Graphite carbon — pure carbon, no metal. The pendant is threaded onto a 75 cm suede cord. It weighs 5 grams: the silhouette reads large, yet you barely feel it on the neck.
What is Arctic Graphite carbon, and how does it behave?
Arctic Graphite is one of STRUGA's six in-house carbon palettes: white, grey and pale-blue layers that, in cross-section, resemble polar ice. The carbon is layered and matte, ultralight, unbothered by water, and unchanging over time — unlike silver, carbon does not darken and does not patina.
What is the SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC family?
SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC is the brand's first form — the one STRUGA began with. Its aesthetic comes from CNC machining of sheet material: sharp edges, flat planes, recessed cuts. It is the most widely represented form in the brand, living across more types of pieces than any other.
Is this silver?
No. This object is pure carbon — no metal, no silver. Most STRUGA pieces are 925 sterling silver, but here the SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC form is made in in-house Arctic Graphite carbon.
How do I care for carbon?
Carbon does not darken and needs no patinating. Wiping it with a soft cloth is enough; it is unbothered by water. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths. Keep the suede cord dry.
