AMULET — STRUGA earrings and necklaces built around raw, wild-growth stones. The amulets of this family differ widely — from quiet and classic, a Japanese reading of minimalism, to large and declarative. The most expressive is the THORN amulet: a halved-torpedo form with a crystal grown inside; an homage to Daniel Arsham.

A wild pink tourmaline held deep inside the largest Thorn Amulet — only the blunt end of the crystal leaves the diagonal cut.
This is a single mono-earring for one ear: 925 sterling silver, size L, 5.9 grams, article E-0528-L. The price is $220, Rp 3,920,000. This exact earring is sold, and the stone in it cannot be repeated.
It is built from two parts. The clasp is a hinged huggie that closes in the lobe — a U-shaped body with four short thorns, two to a side, and STRUGA struck down its flat face in vertical letters. A jump ring carries the amulet under it: a long silver body, brushed rather than polished, with four short barbs along its sides and the 925 hallmarks stamped near the top. The body is cut on a long diagonal that runs most of its length. The large body is long, so the tourmaline sits recessed: below the silver shows the last third of the crystal, ending in a flat, angled face.
Thorn Amulet is a type within the AMULET family, voiced through the RITUAL world. Its form is a torpedo cut in half, as if found in the ground thousands of years later, with a crystal grown inside — an homage to Daniel Arsham. The THORN geometry behind it is the third form of the brand and joins two aesthetics, CNC and 3D-modelling; it began as a chain link and is carried here in volume.
The stone is a wild-growth pink tourmaline — uncut, unset, glossy, with fine lengthwise striations running down the prism. The pink here is warm and slightly earthen, closer to old rose than to fuchsia. Four of the Thorn Amulet earrings in the catalogue carry a pink tourmaline, and this is the only one at the large size: the others are earring #3 at 3.5 grams, earring #5 at 5.0 grams and earring #11 at 4.9 grams. Only three earrings in the line are made at size L at all, and the other two hold aquamarine. STRUGA describes the stone as material, geology and form — not as a source of power. Made this way: the form is modelled in 3D or in wax, a silicone mould is taken from it, the silver is cast. The master finishes the body by hand, then picks the stone and seats it in the opening. This tourmaline was chosen for this body alone.

This is one earring for one ear, not half of a pair. The drop is long for the line: the clasp sits in the lobe and the body ends around the line of the jaw, so it moves when you turn your head. At 5.9 grams the weight is present — it is felt through a working day, and a high collar will catch it.
