How much does the earring weigh, and how does it sit in the ear?
The earring is 5.62 grams of 925 sterling silver. It is a single pin earring, worn in one ear. The weight is noticeable for an earring, but it sits calmly. The figure has movable limbs, so it shifts with you as you move.
What is BearRabbit, and what is the figure made from?
BearRabbit is a STRUGA experiment: a creature with a split head, half bear, half rabbit. Its body is half a BLADE Mini Link — the same form STRUGA builds its chains and bracelets from, and the same half-link that tops the pin. Arms, legs and the head are grafted onto that body, and the limbs hang free.
Do the limbs really move?
Yes. Each limb is modelled separately and assembled onto the body so that the arms and legs swing freely. The figure is articulated and moves with you as you wear it.
How much does it cost, and how long does it take to make?
The earring costs $210 and is made to order in about two weeks. Price and lead time are the same for all three Blade Pin earrings; STRUGA does not keep them in stock, each one is cast for the order.
Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 silver without rhodium plating. The earring arrives light and darkens with air and skin: the recesses of the relief deepen while friction lightens the raised edges. The patina is a property, not a defect. To bring the metal back to the light, care for it with a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths.
What is the EXPERIMENTAL family?
EXPERIMENTAL is STRUGA's zone of pure invention within the LAB world. Here the brand takes familiar things around it and rethinks them. BearRabbit belongs to this zone; its body reproduces the BLADE Mini Link — the same form STRUGA uses to build its chains and bracelets.
