EXPERIMENTAL is STRUGA's zone of pure creativity. Here the familiar things around us are reconsidered and become objects in silver — this is how Pills appeared. The capsule and the tablet are drawn from the pharmacy lexicon and cast in silver. The carrier is the small Classic hoop with a hinged clasp: it passes through the lobe, and both forms hang below it on separate jump rings, free to move. Each form catches the light differently — the capsule turns on its long axis, the tablet shows a flat face.
925 silver is 92.5% pure silver. The 3.7 grams are split across two small forms, so the earring stays light in the ear. The surface is Living Silver, uncoated. The metal darkens with air and skin: the recesses of the relief deepen, while friction lightens the raised edges. The patina is a property, not a defect; the metal can be brought back to the light with care.
How it is made: the form is modelled first, in 3D or by hand in wax. A silicone mould is taken from that model, and the silver is cast into it. The finished earring is worked by hand. One earring is $150, made to order in about two weeks.
