Frequently asked questions
How much does the pendant weigh, and how long is the chain?
Carabiner #2 Small is 5.98 grams of 925 sterling silver on a 75 cm chain. The carabiner itself is small and sits below the collar; on the chain its weight doesn't pull at the neck.
Is the carabiner a working mechanism, or only a shape?
It works. The carabiner opens and closes, so you can clip something to it — or leave it hanging on the chain as a pendant. It's a functional clasp worn as a piece of jewellery.
What is the SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC family?
SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC is STRUGA's first form — the form the brand began with. A single form was carried across different types of pieces, from a pendant to a carabiner. The aesthetic came out of CNC machining of sheet material: sharp edges, flat planes, recesses. Carabiner #2 Small carries that form.
Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 silver without rhodium plating. The pendant arrives light and darkens with air and skin: the recesses of the relief deepen, while friction lightens the raised edges. The patina is a property, not a defect. To bring the metal back to the light, care for it with a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths.
How do I wear Carabiner #2 Small?
On its 75 cm chain the carabiner rests on the chest and, if you like, tucks below the collar. Wear it on its own or together with other STRUGA silver — on a single chain or in several layers.
