• Who founded STRUGA and who directs its design? STRUGA was founded in 2018 by Dmitry and Ekaterina Strugovshchikov. Dmitry is the brand's designer. The founders direct design and development while silversmiths physically make the objects.

The brand map separates a world, a family and a saleable object. A world such as CODEX, RITUAL or LAB gives the broad territory; a family such as THORN or CARBON defines a formal relation; the product card carries composition, measurements, set contents and availability. Material starts with the exact object

• Does STRUGA work only in 925 silver? 925 silver is STRUGA's core metal, but it is not the whole catalogue. The brand also works with carbon, meteorite, copper, brass, stainless steel, and raw stones. Verify the material of every object on its exact product page.

• What is Living Silver, and why does it darken? Living Silver is uncoated 925 silver without rhodium plating. Contact and friction change its tone: raised areas brighten while recesses retain more darkness. Patina is a surface property, not a defect.

Material is verified object by object. Uncoated 925 silver — 92.5% silver in the alloy, confirmed by the 925 hallmark — is central to STRUGA, but carbon, meteorite, copper, brass, stainless steel and raw stones also appear. Living Silver names an uncoated starting condition. Contact can brighten raised zones while recesses remain darker. Patina can be retained or removed by request, but ordinary surface change is not a blanket defect. Care must still account for the particular stone, setting and finish.

When two objects look similarly dark, the shared tone still does not prove identical coating or composition. How STRUGA objects are made

• Where are international STRUGA orders made? Objects ordered for the international market on strugadesign.com are made and shipped from Bali. STRUGA does not publish the exact workshops, addresses, or names of makers.

How does an object move from idea to metal? The basic path is described plainly: wax model, silicone mould, 925 silver, hand finishing. Exact technique depends on material and form. The founders direct design; silversmiths perform the making.

The production route is stated at storefront level. International objects ordered on the .com storefront are made and shipped from Bali. Exact workshop names, addresses and maker identities remain closed. A broad FAQ should not turn those protected details into public proof requirements.

Objects are made to order, not taken from a shelf. Silver takes about two weeks to make, silver with a stone about three. Carbon takes about four weeks along the individual-order route, and transit adds about seven days. AMULET objects are finished one-of-one pieces: a sold amulet becomes an archive card, and the path to a similar stone is a request, not a reorder.

The making path is intentionally plain rather than universal. Wax model, silicone mould, 925 silver and hand finishing describe a basic sequence. Material and form can require another exact technique, so the product or workshop confirmation remains decisive.

Production location does not disclose a particular bench or maker. It tells which storefront route governs making and shipping, while the protected workshop identity remains outside the public content surface. The public wording stops at that verified storefront route.

Size and fit

Measurements instead of gender labels

• Does STRUGA divide objects into men's and women's? No. Size follows the body, form, weight, and fit rather than a gender category. One object can work for different people when its factual measurements fit.

How do I choose a ring size, chain length, or bracelet? Use the information and guide for the exact object, then confirm the measurement while ordering. A custom order is measured separately. Do not transfer length, weight, or size from a similar model.

Fit begins with the body and the exact form. Ring size, bracelet interior, chain length, visible mass and weight affect different objects in different ways. A gender label does not supply any of those measurements. One design can work for different people when the factual parameters and intended position agree.

Use the relevant guide, then confirm the chosen object. Similar appearance is not evidence of equal length, weight or fit. Custom work starts from a separate measurement because changing a size may also change proportion and construction. A ring size is adjusted once without charge; shipping both ways stays with the owner.

A measurement is useful only when taken for the form that will be worn. Check where a cuff, ring, bracelet or chain actually meets the body, and keep the selected card beside the result.

How much does a custom order cost, and how long does it take? There is no fixed public price: form, material, size, budget, and timing are gathered into one brief. The general making guide is about 3–6 weeks, but that is a frame rather than a promised date.

Custom Order is a route for a defined brief, not an instant catalogue promise. It can begin with a form outside the catalogue, a special size or a singular personal object. DARK UNION is the dedicated route for engagement, wedding, paired-vow and alternative wedding rings. A person at STRUGA receives the request and confirms what can actually be proposed.

The brief joins form, material, size, budget and timing. The public 3–6 week interval is only a general making guide. Price and final date belong to the approved proposal, so the FAQ must not convert the interval into a guarantee.

Delivery, returns, and exchange

Storefront-specific delivery and rights

• How is an international order delivered? The order is placed on strugadesign.com and shipped from Bali. Orders from $300 ship free; below that the calculated cost is added at checkout. Transit usually takes about seven days after making. A person at STRUGA confirms any non-standard route.

Can I return or exchange an object? For strugadesign.com, an unworn unchanged catalogue object can be exchanged once within 14 calendar days after delivery under the current conditions on Shipping & Returns. Custom work is final sale except defects, wrong items, and mandatory rights. Obtain authorization from STRUGA before sending anything.

Delivery and exchange stay tied to the storefront used for the order. The international route begins on strugadesign.com and ships from Bali; orders from $300 ship free, and below that the calculated cost appears at checkout. A broad FAQ does not name a courier or freeze a price that may change.

Care begins with surface and construction

• How do I care for STRUGA silver? Begin with a dry soft cloth after ordinary wear. Deeper care depends on surface, stone, and construction. Patina can be kept or removed; ask about the exact object before using an abrasive or silver-cleaning liquid.

What if an object breaks, and where can I see STRUGA in person? The workshop provides cleaning and minor repair without a labour charge while the object remains with its owner; inbound shipping is paid by the owner. Use Contact for damage, warranty questions, and current places to see the objects.

Care is selected after identifying surface, stone and construction. A dry soft cloth is the first step after ordinary wear. Abrasive polishing or silver-cleaning liquid can change a pre-blackened surface, matte areas, settings and raw stones, so deeper treatment is confirmed for the exact object.

Service and physical viewing require current contact. The workshop cleans and makes minor repairs without a labour charge for as long as the object stays with its owner; inbound shipping remains with the owner.
