STRUGA — Ritualistic Urban Minimalism from Bali
Two worlds. One language in silver.
STRUGA was founded in 2018 by designer Dmitry Strugovshchikov in Bali, Indonesia. The brand exists at a specific intersection — where the island's sacred craft traditions meet the sensory intensity of global urban culture. Dark oxidized silver, geometric precision, volcanic stone. Artifacts built for the ritual of daily wear.
Ritualistic Urban Minimalism
This is not a marketing phrase — it's a design methodology. Every STRUGA piece begins with two references: Bali's temple architecture (symmetry, repetition, sacred geometry) and the raw minimalism of industrial spaces (concrete, steel, stripped function). The pieces that emerge carry both — an object that could belong on a temple offering tray or around the wrist of someone leaving a warehouse at dawn.
We strip away ornament. We let material speak. Silver is treated not as a luxury commodity but as a living surface — oxidized to deep black, designed to evolve through wear, meant to age with its owner rather than be preserved behind glass.
Made in Bali
Our workshop sits within Bali's silversmithing heartland. The artisans we work with carry generations of knowledge in the lost-wax casting method — a process that hasn't fundamentally changed in centuries because it doesn't need to. Hand-carved wax models, centrifugal casting, manual finishing. The technology is the human hand.
Working in Bali is a deliberate choice. The island's volcanic energy, its daily rituals of offering and transformation, its specific quality of light and heat — all of this feeds into the work. STRUGA pieces are shaped by place, not just made in one.
Global by Nature
STRUGA ships worldwide from Bali. Our community spans Berlin, Tokyo, Moscow, Melbourne, Los Angeles, and everywhere in between. The people who wear STRUGA share an aesthetic sensibility that crosses borders — a preference for the dark, the minimal, the intentional. Whether it arrives on a tropical island or a grey northern city, the silver adapts. That's its nature.
