Frequently asked questions
How much does the bracelet weigh, and how does it sit on the wrist?
The bracelet weighs 95.2 grams — a large, substantial object. You feel its weight on the wrist. It is made for those who like silver to be noticed.
What is the cross in the centre made of, and why two materials?
The cross is multilayer matte carbon in the Arctic palette, its shape CNC-milled from sheet carbon. The chain itself is 925 silver. Silver and carbon brought together in one composition is the principle of the MOSAIC family. Carbon is light, water-resistant and stays the same over time; silver lives and darkens — so the two materials behave differently.
What is the Carabiner #2 Big?
Carabiner #2 Big is the largest carabiner STRUGA makes, carrying the form of the SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC family. It is the same massive carabiner that closes the BLADE chains. In this bracelet the carabiner is multiplied into the chain itself: every link is a real working carabiner that opens, closes and holds.
Why does the silver darken while the carbon does not, and how do I care for it?
The silver surface is Living Silver — 925 silver without rhodium plating. The bracelet arrives light and darkens with air and skin: the recesses of the relief darken while friction lightens the raised edges. The patina is a property, not a defect. The carbon does not darken and stays as it is. The silver can be brought back to the light with care — a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths.
Is the bracelet one size, or can it be adjusted?
The length of the chain can be adjusted to the wrist. If you need a precise fit, or you already have a STRUGA bracelet that sits the way you want, write to us through Custom Order and we will match it.
