Are the tourmalines natural and uncut?
Yes. Each is set in the shape it grew in, not cut to a standard.
Why do the colours differ so much?
Tourmaline takes its colour from trace elements caught during growth - iron, manganese, lithium, chromium. A single crystal can even shift hue along its length.
What is achroite?
The colourless variety of tourmaline. The name comes from the Greek for without colour. One of the twenty-one pieces here carries it.
Will my piece match the photograph?
The silver will. The stone will not - each is photographed individually because each is different. What you see in the listing is the stone you receive.
How heavy are they?
Between 2.5 and 5.9 grams. The stone decides the final mass, so two pieces of the same model can differ.
How do I clean them?
Cloth or silver cleaner on the metal, no ultrasonic cleaning. Raw crystals keep internal flaws that cutting would have removed.
