Frequently asked questions
How much does the Signature Asymmetric Aged necklace weigh, and how does it sit?
The pendant weighs 17 grams. It is cut from multi-layered matte carbon fiber, so the body stays light for its size and rests flat against the chest rather than pulling forward. It is threaded onto a 75 cm suede cord, which lets the piece hang long and move with you.
What is the Signature Asymmetric Aged made of, and how is it built?
It is pure carbon plus copper, with no silver. The original SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC form is CNC-cut from multi-layered matte carbon fiber, and aged copper is fully inlaid into the body. Aged is STRUGA's warmest carbon treatment: the copper is pressed into a dark graphite core and patinated by hand until the surface reads weathered and time-worn. The finished form is threaded onto a 75 cm suede cord. Handcrafted in Bali, Indonesia.
How is the necklace worn, and is there a chain length?
The piece comes on a single 75 cm suede cord, worn over the head. At that length it sits low on the chest. The cord is soft and matte, which keeps the focus on the carbon body and the aged copper inlay.
How does the surface behave over time, and how should I care for it?
This piece is carbon fiber with an aged copper inlay, not silver. Carbon fiber does not change over time and does not darken — the matte graphite surface stays as it is. The copper has already been patinated by hand to read weathered, so its tone is part of the finish rather than something that develops further. Care is simple: wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth, and keep the suede cord away from prolonged water and oils so it holds its texture.
What is the SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC family?
SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC is a family within the CODEX world and is the brand's founding form — the first ordinal in the line of STRUGA forms. It carries the asymmetric silhouette that became the brand's DNA. The Aged version renders that same form in carbon with an inlaid, hand-patinated copper, its warmest and most time-worn finish.
